Alright guys, I've calmed down after the initial shock..I've ordered a few new materials from Amazon, including new preptests and a new LG guide. I'm ready and determined to study my ass off. I'm going to wake up super early every morning and drill the hell out of logic games. I'm going to make LR my slave and I'm gonna kick RC's ass. LETS DO THIS :x

Checking in... Going to take the weekend to finish up my applications, then take a PT on Monday and see where I'm at. Based on that I'll decide if retaking in February is worth it, or if I should just see how the cycle pans out and potentially retake in June if I decide to reapply.

I went -5 LG, -1 LR1, -5 LR2, and -4 RC. With LG my problems were mostly time management (guessed on the last two, which I got wrong) and making dumb mistakes- I have the wrong test uploaded, so I can't say for sure, but I got 1 wrong in the first and second game respectively, and since I felt they were pretty easy while taking the test I'm guessing they're silly mistake. Can't identify what went wrong on LR2 and RC until I have my hands on the right test, but on PTs on average I was going -1 to -3 on LR and -2 to -3 on RC. Based on that, how would you study?

related: there was a good quote I saw on reddit, that I'll share here:

They have got you looking so hard for any flaw, that after a while that is all you see. - Gattaca 1997

We can make this our motto.

You're getting pretty close to that 170+ area. IMO, you have potential to score a 170+ in Feb as I can imagine most of your studying would come in the form of some drilling and more PT's. It seems like LG on PT 74 got a lot of people so don't feel too bad!

Thanks for the links and advice guys. After reading through them I'm thinking of structuring my studying this way:

PT Monday and Thursday, BR Tuesday and Friday, drill baby drill + timed sections the rest of the week based on last PT's results. I also want to read through the LR bible again, and maybe read through an RC book, so I'll do a chapter a day each until I get through them. I think a big part of the problem last time was that I PTed too much without reviewing the results properly (which directly caused my current problem of not having enough fresh material :x) so hopefully this will help.

Anyone retaking after writing the december test? I am a bit worried as there is only one month left. I still would like to update a score in March to get off wl or solicit $$. How is it likely for people to get into T6 after updating a Feb score?

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
