We all missed it. Although "Katara" did sound a bit funny when I first read it...

Sounds like I'll take a look at it, although I really liked all the characters in the show. Especially Appa. Toss-up whether I name my first dog Muzzy or Appa.
Get two dogs, name one Muzzy and the other Appa, problem solved!

Anyone watch Legend of Katara? I loved the Last Airbender but never got around to watching the new iteration.
I watched the first season and I thought it was pretty good. It was a while ago and I haven't kept up but I remember thinking that it actually improved upon the original series in some aspects.

lol you're so thoughtful bom. also jerseykid you are absolutely incorrect.
Well, damn, that was quick. Haha.

I won't defend my view too much because, like I said, my memory is a bit fuzzy on the details. I certainly didn't think Korra was better than the original but, I remember finding it a bit darker than the first series and I thought that made for some interesting possibilities moving forward. Don't get me wrong, though, I loved the original series as well.

By the way, I've been catching up on Firefly and I'm loving it so far. Hopefully that will make up for any disagreement we may have regarding Korra.

I have a question for you folks about applications generally-

How much of the non-required fields in applications do you fill out? in one application, for example, a lot of non-required fields under the Education part of the application ask about my institution, date attended, date graduated, degree major, GPA, etc. It may also ask to list awards, things like dean's list which I already have in my resume and assumed they would learn of that way.

is it most prudent to "go hard" and fill out as much of these applications as possible, even the extraneous details or random personal questions they ask? I don't want to half ass it
