Palo Alto isn't the most happening community but it's got a lot of green space and the main buildings are quite gorgeous imo.lurksoh4rd wrote:Granted I didn't explore very much. That said, "Stanford" sucks and is a lie, just as well I won't be getting in.

Re: The Official September 2017 Study Group
I like watching the explanation right after reviewing, and then if I don't solve the game under a recommended time or miss any of the questions, I solve it again immediately after watching 7Sage's solution. This helps build the strategy to solving efficiently and effectively. After this I will solve it the next day, and every day after until I get it under time and 100% correct. Once you solve it I put it in a pile to do again in a week or so. Just to make sure the solution is still muddled in my brain somewhere.clueless801 wrote:LG bosses: How soon after a game+review do you reattempt the set? I've been putting it aside and noting it on an excel sheet which game, what type, and my difficulty with it or reason I want to retry it for later. But I haven't done any right, right away. I'm trying to avoid "memorizing" the solution to a game.
What do you folks do for game review where you may not have gone -0?
And for going -0, I would make sure you're under the recommended time to solve it. If not, you have room for improvement. Watch the 7Sage video and see how his diagram was different than yours, or see which inferences you missed.

I would add not to take 7Sage's times as gospel. It's a solid recommendation, especially for prepping, but don't freak out if one out of six games takes you a minute or two longer. Anything where you take 150%+ of the recommended time should be a bit of a flag though.
Basically, be reasonable. Personally, I finish sequencing two minutes early, generally, and some grouping take a bit longer.

I went to watch the 7sage on the virus game the other day, but then I had flashbacks and shut down the page because I couldn't handle it.Mikey wrote:I felt like a god in September with game 134iplaw wrote:I would add not to take 7Sage's times as gospel. Below is a list from my alter ego of weird logic games sorted by weird game types. It's not inclusive of all games, but it's pretty good IMO. Feel free to pile on. I don't recall the dates of these tests off the top of my head, but most 'weird' games are in the first 20 PTs.chewinggum wrote:Just realized all the games in my LG bible are from the 90s .. not sure if I should be worried and get newer materials
Circular sequencing
apparently, 7Sage categorizes some of these as SeqTwst

Alight am back.
Spend the last 2 days in the library from 9-7 getting through the rereread of the trainer, got 50% of it done and probably about 70ish questions in total. Going good, want to be in shape for the digital.
315 bench is happening soon barring injury so hopefully that goes good. Not predicting it until post LSAT since diet and training is hard when you listen to audio LSAT all day.
Who is outing who
Stress is a preexisting condition.
