Did you let your students know you were studying for the LSAT? That would have been a cool way to take the class, because obviously you were motivated to teach your class.
I'm actually not teaching at the moment, too caught up in my other full-time responsibilities.

I don't mean right now. Was that concomitant, studying for the LSAT and teaching? Like, did you teach this spring as you studied for the LSAT?

Yes, this is what you need to do. Otherwise you can't bargain for more money. For instance, both Cornell and NYU offered me 90k. You better believe I used that against Cornell.

My full-time stuff keeps me very busy. If a class schedule comes along that works with my other responsibilities and is in a convenient location, I'll take it, but we have plenty of other instructors and they prefer my attention focused on bigger picture projects.

Yo. Do study abroad classes count towards your LSAC gpa? I'm pretty sure I'll get like a 3.33-3.5 equivalent for my study abroad classes, which is significantly lower than my UG GPA. Any idea about this, and if this even really matters for applications?

No idea, but it is my understanding that any courses taken at a post-secondary institution should provide a transcript to LSAC for your GPA. But like I said...No idea.

did those credits go toward your undergraduate degree? That's why lsac ask for transcripts for anything related to UG like a community college summer course you took in high school that transferred toward your degree. If somehow you didn't use those credits or you made them P/F so you only get completion credit, those grades should factored into your gpa.

I feel kind of weird after lurking this entire time and just now contributing to this thread I've been following lol, but can someone explain to me what the hell you all mean by "grey days" or "it" becoming grey, or whatever? I'm definitely lost.

Yes they count toward the completion of my degree, but they do not count toward my undergraduate GPA. Also, the guidelines on LSAC seem contradictory. They want transcripts from all the places I attended, but they only want foreign transcripts if I attended for more than a year, which I did not. The classes should be included on my undergraduate transcript since they count towards completion credit, but, again, they don't factor into my gpa.

What's your GPA LSAT?

I wanted to see if one of the T3 accepted me. Choosing a law school isn't easy. There were people who were offered significant scholarships, and I felt like I missed out by applying too late/because of numbers.

It refers to the grey decaying flesh of the bodies from which LSAC extracts the nefarious souls they use to produce their employees. The despair of disappointed LSAT takers powers this process when scores are released. Hence, grey day.
