Thanks DD, I am a inveterate snoozer too, I'll try to have as many alarm as possible.Daily_Double wrote: 8:00 AM, if I'm working that morning, 9:00AM, if I'm not working that morning. Sometime before noon on the weekends. I have five alarms, including my phone and tv, which turns on when I tell it to, it's pretty sweet, the three alarm clocks are scattered around my room and set one minute apart from each other. On first day of this was one of the fastest I have ever moved in two minutes. Gets the job done every time I need it to. I'm a chronic snoozer, so I had to develop something extreme to wake up on time for things.

Get up at 6:45AM...but I go to sleep pretty early, between 11 and 12:30AM.
I'm glad I've changed my go to sleep at 2~4 wake up at 10~12 to now.
I got into this habit by gradually but consistently going to sleep earlier, waking up ~20~30 minutes earlier. It's a motivation to get up when I know studying as much as I can now will reduce my stress the week before June test (suicidal to just severely depressed).

Anyone else doing full-time LSAT prep? No other obligations like school, work or family.

For now I'm doing ALMOST full time - no classes but I do have to take care of some family stuff (not too much though, probably take out ~10~12 hours a week of studying avg)
Classes start pretty soon though unfortunately...thinking about dropping some to focus more on the LSAT.

Checking in. I have lurked long enough and finally need to get on here for the June 13 study group. Ready to rock this thing in 5 months. Although I am living in Thailand at the moment, I'm going to be taking it in Arizona in June. I have been working my way through the MLSAT LG, LG Bible, and LR Bible. Also using the free 5 month weekly plan from lsatblog. I am a retake from October, when I didn't prepare sufficiently and bombed. Ready to do this right and look forward to working with all of you guys.

Re: JUNE 2013 Study Group / Study Partner Thread
My Saturday night:
Did 6 Basic Ordering games. 36 questions, I missed three. All were simple mistakes (forgetting to apply a rule, selected the wrong answer when I had the right one circled), so I'm happy with it even though these are super-simple. Was below 8:45 on all the games, which I think is pretty good, considering these are my first sets of "real" LSAT questions (and I'm doing them at 10 pm).
Need to heed the MLSAT advice and take "The Big Pause" before working. That's the next step.
Tomorrow I'll do more problem sets and start working on the next chapter in MLSAT LG.

Re: JUNE 2013 Study Group / Study Partner Thread
Plan tonight is to cover a good mix of Flaw, Strengthen/Weaken, and Assumption questions and do some numbered, relative and 3-D ordering practice.
As for tomorrow, focus is RC with Manhattan's books. To reinforce what I read from the books, I'm creating an outline that I will refer to daily before any practice until its ingrained. My outline thus far is grouped by question/game type and how to effectively approach each.

Spent the morning doing some of Manhattan's LG guide. Ravens game this afternoon then a little more tonight, and PT 44 tomorrow.
Highly recommend the LG guide, so far, btw.

I need to leave my house in DC for work at about 930. I've been trying to get up at 630 and study a bit, but keep snoozing way too long to the point of thinking "wow, it's too late now so I guess I'll just sleep a bit more and not study at all. " ugh.

Re: JUNE 2013 Study Group / Study Partner Thread
Found out that my plan to take may and june off for study will almost certainly fall through, so that's a bit of a downer. On the plus hand, my PT results are holding up very well and I am very close to my target range (which I will probably revise upwards).

Today I started Manhattan LG 3rd edition! Thinking of reviewing my Dec LSAT tomorrow...or taking a PT. Can't decide.

Anybody give up drinking on weekends yet, or waiting til we get a bit closer?
(Went out Thursday night to celebrate a friends birthday. Drank too much. Realized on Friday at work that that probably should not happen much, if at all, anymore until after the LSAT.)

Re: JUNE 2013 Study Group / Study Partner Thread
Looking for a partner to get ready for June. My plan is simple, take a PT, review by the end of following day, take another. I'll be starting with earlier exams (I have them all, just about) saving the 40-60's for late March through May. I don't really care what level you are currently at but If you're concerned about me being too far ahead or behind, I usually PT in high 150's with highest so far of 162.
After every 2-3, I will be re taking a previous test to make sure I understood the errors I made the first time around.
If interested, PM me.
Best to all

Re: JUNE 2013 Study Group / Study Partner Thread
Hi y'all, I'm throwing my hat into the ring.
Took the December LSAT and got a 168. All but 2 of my wrong answers were in logic games. At least I have a targeted area to study, lol.
I applied this cycle already to Temple U in Philly, but I've been convinced to leave the money on the table and shoot for UPenn next cycle. Goal score is 172+.
I don't know what my study plan is gonna be, but I am hoping to have a shot at a little $, so it's gotta be intense.
Looking forward to seeing y'all around for the next 5 months!

I'm in the same boat - 168 from October. My GPA is low for T14, so my goal is 178+ to maximize my chances. Let's keep each other motivated the next 5 months!

may i ask what your LUGPA is...with a 168 and a 3.8x plus you still have a decent shot at GCMPleshachikha wrote:Hi y'all, I'm throwing my hat into the ring.
