Funny story:
So usually I go to Staples to print my full PTs just so I don't kill my printer at home. Anyway I'm doing PT 64 about half an hour ago and I get to the third passage of RC and notice that it's the last page in the test....I somehow didn't print out the last passage. Anyway I pause the time and run down and print off an extra page.
On the plus side I ended up with a 166!!

I think if you figure out the even/odd pages and add an extra page at the beginning if need be, you should be good?proteinshake wrote:honestly I just didn't know how to fix it so I just keep printing them like that lolappind wrote:i can see that it may help develop better memory of the passage. do you find it really useful though?Alexandros wrote:Whaaaatproteinshake wrote:I take all my PTs like this, good for the memory hehe!Alexandros wrote:Smart me formatted the RC passages so a passage was on one side and most of the questions on the other. Granted, it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, but I'm finding referring back to the text is big part of performing well, and being able to do so easily is nice.
i think before the new-style LSAT was created (before 1991), the reading comprehension required people to memorize the passage, and they weren't allowed to refer back to it for questions.
It's gonna require some higher level mathematics though; I'm not entirely sure I'm up to the task.

1) Print the first page of questions OF THE TEST (most likely questions 1-3) single sided.
2) print the rest of the test as is.

print only the 1st page of the first section of the PT one-sided (not on both sides)Alexandros wrote:I think if you figure out the even/odd pages and add an extra page at the beginning if need be, you should be good?proteinshake wrote:honestly I just didn't know how to fix it so I just keep printing them like that lolappind wrote:i can see that it may help develop better memory of the passage. do you find it really useful though?Alexandros wrote:Whaaaatproteinshake wrote:I take all my PTs like this, good for the memory hehe!Alexandros wrote:Smart me formatted the RC passages so a passage was on one side and most of the questions on the other. print 2nd page onward till the end of the PT two-sided
stack the printed side of the 1st page against 2nd page and you're good to go

Re: The Official September 2016 Study Group - WELCOME JUNE WAITERS
Out of the two homeworks on Type 2 Questions (200 total)
24 wrong (10 necessary, 8 strengthen, 6 sufficient)
10 additional ones flagged for either not being 100% confident or feeling that I took too long but ultimately got right.
Not really that happy... rather of been in the 90% accuracy range, but I suppose that it becomes splitting hairs...
Going to try to get caught up a bit more on RC now...then, when I get too tired, log more missed questions into database.

Took PT61 today and am disappointed with the score I got given that I felt like I killed the test.
RC: -4
LR1: -4
LG: -3
LR2: -1
--------
Raw Score: 89/101
Scaled Score: 170
Two things:
1) What the fuck LG... that never happens
2) I literally picked "the other" answer every-time and changed to the wrong answer at least 3 times in RC (original answers in tact would have given me a -1) and 1 time in LR. That's the difference between a 170 and a 173. UGHHHHHHHHHHH SO FRUSTRATED

As far as bands I like besides TDWP. Well, I like a little of everything. As far as metal goes, I am a big fan of August Burns Red, Norma Jean, Haste The Day (before they broke up) I used to be really into Christian Metalcore in middle and high school.
What about you?

Nice, the only Christian type of band that I like is For Today. I actually got to meet them Summer 2014, took a pick with the lead vocalist and got a shirt signed by all of them!Barack O'Drama wrote:TheMikey wrote:Totally LSAT related, but out of curiosity, what others bands besides TDWP do you like? Other than TDWP and For today the list can go on and on.. lmao but I'll keep it somewhat short for my favorites. I'd have to say MIW (saw them live twice), a day to remember, whitechapel, parkway drive, and bring me the horizon (mostly their older stuff, but some of their newer stuff is ok).
Also, I wouldn't say they're part of my favorites, but I've been jamming out to chelsea grin a ton lately.

No shame in being overscrupulous when it comes to the LSAT. So certainly to be taken as a compliment.

PT 65
Conditions: Taken around noon in the library. 5 sections, stopwatch proctored.
LR1: -2
LG: -2
RC: -4
LR2: -0
Raw: 93
Scaled: 175
I'm starting to get disheartened. I'm getting worse and worse, especially in regard to RC. I don't know where to go from here.

There was a lsac document somewhere on this forum about how the modern form of test originated from their experiments since 1940s and 50s. it had examples of older RC.
curious as to how people like Obamas, Elliot spitzer, Cruz, Clintons did on the lsat.
All of these except Cruz would have taken the lsat before pt-1 and Cruz would have taken one of PTs from 1-10.

Sweet, that's still an incredible score - and, when you consider what your PT average over the past couple of weeks has been, you're doing amazingly well. I know it's frustrating to see score drops, but keep things in perspective. You're absolutely killing it.SweetTort wrote:PT 65

Maybe I'm just worried because of how generous a curve it was. Like, on a less generous curve, -8 could've been much lower.
