Hey guys, I got a 159 on the December test, and I'm probably going to take the February test. I thought I did so much better :| . I've taken every practice test available from 1996 to 2014. How am I going to practice for this test? Any ideas?

Hey man, it happens. What I've been doing is taking the recent 20 tests and dissecting it - and I mean COMPLETELY dissecting it. Look at each question very carefully and figure out why the answer choices are right or wrong. Almost to a point where you are memorizing questions/answer choices and internalizing them to make sure when a similar question comes up in the future you can revert back to these. I still have some spare PT's but I have been doing this since the Dec test and I feel like I have a completely new understanding of the test (and my recent PT scores are a testament to it). Also, use the PT's you first used ever and just retake. I wouldnt give up just yet.

There were a few of you who jumped in at the same time, which I'm calling an influx, but it's definitely a good thing you're here

^THIS. I have cold feet and my stomach is turning. My GPA is just barely between 25th-75th for T14 (AND I'M GOING T14  )... So I need to go mid to high 170s... And seeing all those people who studied their asses off and got below their average gives me the chills... I'm staying off that damn thread.
So, you have a median T14 GPA...?
You definitely don't need to me mid-upper 170s if your GPA is where I understand it to be...

ETA: But don't let that stop you

I'm scared that there won't be enough admissions spots left for me at the schools I want to get into during March. It would be pretty late in the cycle, they might also run out of scholarship money..Should I apply now and email them telling them I will be retaking in February?
