Yikes, 90th%... 164. I usually PTd a bit higher, but no biggie. I already registered for June! LOL no reason not to, I always go -1,-2 on LR and RC... I have 96 days to learn logic games

I'm conflicted and need some help. I've been on this forum for a while, but this is my first time posting. I got a 169, and my GPA will probably be a 3.9-ish. Do you think I should re-take, or should I just be happy I got a great score? I only got to study for about a month before taking this LSAT (my first) because something came up that conflicted with the June date (I'm applying next year). On top of that, I didn't really prep as much as I should have (I only took one full PT and read through some problems on others). Do you think there's a good enough chance of me improving that I should pay the money and re-take in Oct? After all, I'll have more time to study.

Posted my score earlier, but just for reference:

I had to completely guess on 2 and pseudo-guess on 1 in the LG section and guess on 1 each on RC and LR, all due to lack of time.

Although it was a small sample, I would usually finish every section (except LG sometimes) on my PTs within the time limit and would tend to score between -1 and -3 on LR and -1 or -2 on RC.

Practice: 177/173/179/177

The statistically trained portion of my brain is locked in a vicious battle with the illogical portion about trying to make inferences regarding the curve based solely upon the above info :p Bad illogical brain! Time to drown its sass in some celebratory beers.

Only took a couple full-lengths, and those were 168-ish. Never broke 170 until test day...

Solid 5-6ish points lower than I was practice testing.... But then, I wasn't practice testing at goddamned dawn, and I was SUPER nervous that I blew the logic games section. All things considered, I'll take it-- especially for a first time around!

Eh...159. Considering that I did absolutely no prep work beforehand, I think thats okay. I just wanted to have a baseline from a real test before I decided if I needed to take a course, or if I could just grab a practice book.

Was this your first test? If so, my own experience is that the second goes a little smoother. I got a 158 on my first.
