DONT TAKE IT TOO HARD (oops sorry caps) Im the same way and its so frustrating when you come across a game you havent seen b4 that is different, that is why we drill, to experience these games and get better at thinking on our feet and figuring out a way to set it upzacboro wrote:Just did PT 36, taking a break then BR. For the first time in a long time I came across a game that completely stumped me.![]()
It makes me worry so much because LG is my strongest section, just this morning before my test I was literally thinking about how happy I am that my LG scores have CONSISTENTLY been -0/-1 for the past few weeks, and how proud I was of my accomplishment in this area. Shoutout to this one test for diminishing all that built up confidence. I don't know what I'm going to do on test day if I get a debilitating LG.
For anyone in the same range of tests as me it was the one about 6 people riding a bus, rows 1-3 and each row having a window seat and an aisle seat...
Don't worry about it too much. It's one of those games where it's a waste of time to jot down mini boards because of all the conditionals. I just had to brute force that game....was a bitch.zacboro wrote:I know, but man this sucks. My usual spread is LG -0/-1; LR -2/-4 (each section); RC -4/-6. And don't worry I'm improving on all and studying in each but like one mess up on an entire LG could drastically drop my score by -5 more points or so. I'd rather have a tough RC, because I all ready know I'm going to do poorly there; at least for now that is. Hopefully in a few weeks I'm lower than -3 consistently in all areas.

yeah, I've heard that's the kind of game that's been showing up as of late...a lot of brute force type ones. Just what I've heard so take that with a grain of salt.zacboro wrote:
Thank you for sharing my pain! It was so hard because almost every question required a hypothetical to test each answer choice, which is annoying in itself, but then each hypothetical for each answer choice took soooo long to figure out if it "could be true," or what ever it was the question was asking. I HATED it.
ETA: And I was hoping you would comment on my post, I know you are in the same range of tests as me.
PT once a week and spend the other days doing sections. Probably redo the entire LG packets as well. Nothing too intense. I have done 10+ PT's back when I was a noob so I'm fairly used to fatigue.zacboro wrote:Right now I have PT 37 & 38 still untouched, I'm probably going to do those in 2 pieces each Friday-Monday. As of Tuesday I'll have PT 52-71 untouched![]()

But I still don't know what I'm going to do as far as drilling and stuff goes... I'm going to wait till Tuesday and assess from there. What about you???

Yeah I have done 59-64 and 70/71 in the past 3 months and they're def different.flawyers wrote:i'd start to make sure that, if you havent started them yet, to begin doing the PT's in the 60's and early 70's. I found them a little different (not just harder RC, but a slightly different style of LR, and the LG's from 65-73 seem a bit more intense than the one in the 50's).
Now there's a charge.
