Re: The Official September 2017 Study Group
I took PT 62 on Sunday Morning.
Score: 171
RC: 23/27 -4
LR1: 21/26 -5
LG: 22/23 -1
LR2: 23/26 -3
According to 7Sage after taking 4 PTs, my average LSAT score is a 170. I hope I score a 170 when I take the test in June. Starting tomorrow, I will begin taking 5-section Pt's. Hopefully I get to score even higher haha. I am taking 2 PT's a week until June LSAT.
I usually get 0 in LG but this PT's LG section was tough!
I do pretty ok with LR and RC.
How should I drill in between PTs. I probably will drill LR Flaws, Psuedosufficient Ass, and Necessary Ass. since that the type that I frequently miss more.
Not really sure how to study for RC. I will probably drill passages too in the days between PTs.

My apartment or the library. Bibles require focus and the ability to absorb the information, you can take PTs in different environments because you want to push yourself. This phase isolation is key.lurksoh4rd wrote:what are your favorite study environments for going through the bibles?

Back from a quick appointment and guess who I got a visit from!
Haven't seen this lovely chap in almost 7 months, luckily I got it early enough that I won't be in debilitating pain for the next week. Really going to try and rest up so I can finish the trainer (again) this weekend.

I hate myself. It was the second lecture of a class today and the prof called me by name. I'm being a gunner and it feels so gross.

The one I got called by name in is 200ish, but I'm taking another class with the same prof and it's closer to 40-50. I chatted to her yesterday after the smaller class, so it's not toooooo bad.Alexandros wrote:oopsu812 wrote:I hate myself. It was the second lecture of a class today and the prof called me by name. I have at least 3 chapters and 2 readings worth of notes I should be making tonight.

Re: The Official September 2017 Study Group
So one day after taking 55 minutes and getting a -4 on the LG from PT3, I take 36:51 and get a -4 on the LG from PT4.
Any thoughts on what might cause such a huge variance? There's no way that's one day's improvement, is there?

I didn't think PT3 was difficult at all. My first try attempting the game was 24/24 in 26:07. I haven't done PT4 though. If you have difficulty with pt3 I would just watch 7sage's explanations on it, then solve the game immediately after. If you retain the material, do it again the next day and hope it sticks. That's the best way to increase your speed with LG's.abujabal wrote:So one day after taking 55 minutes and getting a -4 on the LG from PT3, I take 36:51 and get a -4 on the LG from PT4.

I'm so glad we have our resident redneck in this thread. I had a great friend from UG who was my token redneck and you can hopefully fill the void in my heart since I don't see him anymore </3chargers21 wrote:VP at NASCAR, some of us are realisticTWiiX wrote:You're really pissing in our bowl of optimism here Alex. Regardless, you can't really plan to be in BL for more than 3 or 4 years (an optimistic estimate) and odds of making partner are slim to none.

No, it was something historical, maybe WWII-related.dj9i27 wrote:was it the punk rock autobiography by the now super conservative guy?Alexandros wrote:What was that book you said I should read a while back?dj9i27 wrote: call in
