Finally, do you wish you had managed to matriculate c/o 2018 instead of failing to do so like unsuccessful losing failures?
I was engaged and was like, well I should go to law school so I can get an impressive job, make money, etc. Engagement fell thru and so did law school (my ex's father did offer to cover my tuition, give us a house to live in + $50k/year if I went to the local regional school [TT]. Really not a bad deal in financial terms).

Not sure that law school is worth it Bc of the debt. If u can get our debt free (as in zero dollars), then I suppose you're only losing 3 years of your life, if you don't end up in a law job (strike out at OCI or something. The colonel and I have a friend who graduated from Duke law like two years ago and didn't get an offer--works at a bank or something in NYC now). But then you do have that whole law school thing on your resume. I have advanced education that I did leave off my resume when applying for jobs a couple years ago when law school fell thru.

There are jobs out there, probably won't pay $100+ K in 3 years, but if you make some of the right decisions you could get up to 60-70k w/o the debt and crazy hours in a few years

Got a meh score after not studying all that hard. Was going to retake immediately but wound up getting a cool job which led to newfound passions and adventures. In my two years off I always wanted to circle back to law school and here I am.
On one hand, it would be cool to be a 2L now and three years ahead of where I am but I would probably have been chasing biglaw and setting myself up for a life I wouldn't have been happy with. I'm grateful for being a bit wiser and more in tune with what I want.

There's really no reason to rush law school.

Or any school. Working is never bad. Unless your family is rich. Then don't work and enjoy leisure.

Oh hey! I actually met you once lulz
Alright lulzy olde thymers, how about a short monologue from each of you on why you were here 2 years ago, why you thought you were gonna cycle, why you didn't, whether and why you are gonna cycle now (soon), or why you've decided not to. Finally, do you wish you had managed to matriculate c/o 2018 instead of failing to do so like unsuccessful losing failures?
I applied as a KJD for co2018. Successful cycle overall - and I accepted a good offer from a good school. But then I decided that i really didnt want to spend any more time in the region of the country where this school was located.

So then I accepted a really cool job. retook the lsat to get more $ from schools i like this time around. Sent my apps out in october. cycle seems to be going well so far.

Im def glad i put it off. i've had a fun time since graduation. grew as a person or whatever. dont quote thanks
