Grad school? Damn girl, what are you doing to yourself? Are trying to put off the real world as long as possible, or are you just a masochist?

A little bit of both haha I graduated from my undergrad relatively early, and there was a research area that I was really interested in pursuing so I went for an MA. I wanted to go all the way to a PhD, but I've learned that I really dislike the lack of "concreteness" in academia, I guess. As a lawyer, I could still work in the same area of interest, but actually feel like I'm doing something meaningful.
