Speaking of. I spoke with a friend who is in the recruiting industry and to paraphrase, she's like, girl, you gotta choose one. It's a bit much to switch jobs AND apply to LS at the same time.
I feel this. I recently (within the last few months) switched to a job with a less demanding schedule so that a) I'd have more weekends and evenings free for studying and b) by the time the test and application come around, I will have been here long enough to get some sympathy if I seem to be devoting more mental energy towards that process. There were certainly other considerations, but these were super important and timing played a big role in the decision.

If you're gonna do it, now's the time, no doubt.
