Re: The Official June 2015 Waiter's Thread
I had the LR(25); RC; LR(25); LR(25); LG.
It's difficult with all those LR questions to place certain questions in the correct sections. I am hoping that the section right before break was experimental. It seemed difficult on the front end.

I had experimental lr and I don't think I had that questionpeke wrote:Could someone with a non-LR experimental confirm whether or not they saw a very long question that took the entire column - each answer choice was 5-6 lines long (subject regarding a company planning for a March or May conference). I would imagine it's memorable enough many people would be able to recall if they saw it.

I'm pretty sure I did not have that question, but I'm not exclusively confident. Initially I didn't remember having the city privatizing parking question, but it turns out that I did.peke wrote:Could someone with a non-LR experimental confirm whether or not they saw a very long question that took the entire column - each answer choice was 5-6 lines long (subject regarding a company planning for a March or May conference). Hm, that was in the same section as the Mate tea question which seems like many people saw. I guess the experimental section do vary questions as well?

I had a question about Mate tea and did not have an LR experimental, but I don't remember anything about a conference.peke wrote:Hm, that was in the same section as the Mate tea question which seems like many people saw. I guess the experimental section do vary questions as well?

We get the the answer sheet, which includes the credited responses and your responses, question for question. You get you overall score and the corresponding percentile. We get everything, save for the experimental section data, of course.

I believe you also get the test questions for up to 6(?) months after the test that you can go through with the correct responses (if this was intended to be expressed, it wasn't clear).

Also, can someone explain the curve to me? Is that a guess of number of missed questions to a 170?

For the record - yes, this question is ban worthy. The user has been banned. The reason is that it asks about specific answers.JoanaP wrote:Call this question crazy but people with great memories, help..! do you remember if you circled a many D's for the game section?

Same with me. I chose the right answer just because it seemed right and circled it to go back and when I read the question and answers again and I was like wow DUH.whacka wrote:The one with coffee and tea? If so I had that. I also thought that one was tricky until I figured it out and almost had to smack myself. It was one of those where the answer is so obvious once you realize, but the wording makes it tough.TheWalkingDebt wrote:I remember there being a blood cell response time question I thought was really tough and I think that was in my 2nd lr section (third overall section on mine). Anyone with just two lrs have that?
Also is the above bannable? Trying to not get banned a third time.

Re: The Official June 2015 Waiter's Thread
Nice, seems like I'm the first TLS international taker checking in to this thread... Kind of sucks reading all your analyses and not being able to relate because my test was different though haha
Anyway, thought it went ok. Unfortunately, the games section that was real for me was the one I messed up on and I crushed the experimental. But all the other sections went smoothly I think, so we will see what happens.
Question though: Will we (international test takers) get our scores when y'all do?

When does everyone think our scores will come out? Over the past 5 years it looks like scores have come out in three weeks on the dot for 3/5, 1 year they came 1 day after three weeks, and one year they came a few days before the three week mark (fingers crossed for that
).

haha I had my black ticonderogas and someone told me even my pencils were intense so I was bound to score well...well lets hope!tedofsandimas wrote:Black Ticonderogas are a potential sign of a fellow TLS-er, right? There was a guy in my room with those and a Staedtler eraser. I would have said something to him but my room was extremely quiet and no one was talking to anyone else at all.
My testing center was great even with the hour drive there. The proctors had clearly done this before and we were out of there at 5.

Agreed. This was section1 for me, and my format was LR (26) - RC - LR (25) - LR (25) - LG

I must not be talking about the same one because i had two LG sections. First one experimental was hard i probably did a touch better on the second games section.. the rest of the test seemed alright as well i'm hoping for a 160 i dont know thoamd3_3 wrote:zacboro wrote:I believe this was experimental, because it was question 25 and then I had question 26 right next to it.
