Re: The Official June 2015 Study Group
Did main point questions today in Cambridge packets (second time drilling).
36/41 timed, and 39/41 after BR.
Afterwards, I thoroughly reviewed each and every question that gave me trouble. Made sure I fully understood the organizational structure of every argument as well as the answer choices. Was a pain in the ass honestly, but hopefully it pays off.
These are the easiest types of questions, and getting 5 out of 41 wrong is very concerning, especially since almost all of my mistakes were from the easier types of questions.

Any sports fans here?
I'm a college football and NFL addict and these games are really taking away from my study time. Feel like crap after watching them.

Do you guys time drilling? how long should you set for Cambridge LSAT questions by type? I was trying to set 35 mins for every 25-30q then BR.

Never sacrifice accuracy for speed. Your timing will get better as you become more familiar with the types of questions. With that being said though, I still time my drilling, but if I have to go past the 35 minute mark I will. I blind review afterwards. I think this is the most effective way to drill since you're able to work on both timing and accuracy simultaneously. So, to answer your question, I'd time the drills, but without strict timing constraints.ln6246214 wrote:Do you guys time drilling? how long should you set for Cambridge LSAT questions by type? Not a sports fan but it seems like anything can become a distraction when you have something important to do... yesterday I procrastinated by getting obsessed with Project Euler programming problems lol.
When I drill I time myself and try to go as fast as I can while still answering every question, but I have the timer count up. I then record the time so I can track my progress when I drill the game again.
Is blind review just reviewing every question you had trouble with by figuring out why each wrong AC is wrong and why the correct AC is correct?

Yeah that's what I got from skimming that article (which is obnoxiously on 4 pages like a Buzzfeed slide show)... did I miss anything? Because it sounds like I already do BR, I just didn't know the 7sage term for it.

Be sure to put a larger range for the GPA to get more results.

Re-checking in.
This next month is going to be insane between sports/clubs/school, so I'm taking the month off from LSAT studying, aside from a little LG review here and there. Gonna start hitting the books hard again in February.
