An oblate spheroid formed by an ellipsis bound by ((x^2)/(3963^2))+((y^2)/(3949^2))=1 rotated about the y-axis 360 degrees?dj9i27 wrote:What shape is the Earth?chargers21 wrote:Whoa, y'all are woke af
I think that's right? Had to Google distance from core to pole and core to equator, though.
Also, bucked recommendations and decided to binge Halt and Catch Fire.

Visiting Stanford this weekend and though I have no intention of west coast law school I'm scared this thread's stanny love and the visit this weekend will convince me otherwise.

This might be ironically off topic for this thread since it is actually a study question lol. How important is drilling sections? If I scored a 170 on a PT after going through the Trainer, do I need to do sections timed or is it alright if I just start taking full PTs?

Splitters could be kill if every school takes it, twin 179s still wouldn't matter much if you've got 7000 3.9/176 equivalents coming in.Mikey wrote:Why, you basically got the equivalent of a 179 on itdj9i27 wrote:GRE anxiety is back!

Bro, what is your GPA. 3.4/3.5 ain't that bad if that's around what it is. Maybe not Yale worthy, but you still got optionsdj9i27 wrote:Splitters could be kill if every school takes it, twin 179s still wouldn't matter much if you've got 7000 3.9/176 equivalents coming in.Mikey wrote:Why, you basically got the equivalent of a 179 on itdj9i27 wrote:GRE anxiety is back!

I would continue to do both. Just doing full PTs will wear you out. Timed sections won't and will help you to hone your skills.CottonHarvest wrote:This might be ironically off topic for this thread since it is actually a study question lol. Re: The Official September 2017 Study Group
It's kind of hard to know what the actual effect would be. To me, it seems like it would more likely harm reverse splitters. Splitters advantage come from the fact that a high LSAT is still rare as are high GPA+high LSAT candidates. Accepting the GRE won't change that. Splitters would seem to remain important to keep medians/75ths.
A lot probably depends on how reporting and number of applicants with GRE vs. LSAT are impacted.

It wouldn't have been so bad if the bus wasn't stuck at one intersection for over an hour, lol. I don't mind long bus rides if there's constant movement.Mikey wrote:It takes me two hours just to get to school in the morning by busoopsu812 wrote:What a lovely two hour bus ride I just had from campus back home.going back home is the same during rush hour, maybe slightly less

This thread is so quiet tonight. Seems like the key for me to get shit done after I get home exhausted is to take a shower. Time to buy a shower cap!

Work trips+studying for the LSAT don't combine, or maybe do they?
Still drilling 50 minute sections for these damn logic games. -4, which is acceptable to an extent, but that time is absolutely horrendous. I feel like I'm losing my time with hypotheticals - there's only been a few where I can "see" the logic and quickly eliminate answers. All the other ones I find myself constantly going back to the rules as written.
Which is another thing, I need to learn to trust the rules as I wrote them to convey everything when I'm confronted with two CBT options.
Worth noting that I did have a G&T and a tall glass of wine at a networking reception before taking the test, so I wasn't exactly in peak form. Still, no excuse. This is going to be a lot more of a slog than I thought it would...
