You sound like the guy that's watching his favorite football team be down by 18 points in a play off game with 1 minute left in the fourth quarter,
and you go "Well we can just get three onside kicks recovered and returned for a touch down, and then get the 2 point conversion and a field goal. I mean hey, crazier things have happened."
guess what my football team just did?

Ugh, just waitlisted at Duke. Had we gotten scores yesterday, I might have been able to avoid this. LSAC can make it up to me by sending me an amazing score, and soon

I know I didn't do as well as I could've because I forgot a minor premise in a game, but I'm still managing to give myself a fucking heart attack refreshing my e-mail on my phone waiting for this damn score

Mine was LG-LR-LG-RC-LR. Might have been LR-RC at the end. Been too long

Not to throw a wrench in the cogs here, but I did not get my score emailed to me yet...I would say definitively LSAC is the best route to go. Just a heads up.

I am super happy to hear that a lot of you are beating your highest PTs...as this was my first exam I think it was probably a blessing in disguise...

Hey all, I'm the one behind the @LSACTrollop and @LSACSilverFox accounts. Hope I provided a few of you with a little entertainment during the whole process. Sharing my waiting-for-score-induced insanity with the world seemed better than holding it in.
I'm still anxiously waiting for my score like many of you, but I thought I'd chime in with one bit of info: the availability or unavailability of a 176 or of any other score will not allow us to infer anything about the curve. Although Item Response Theory (the method used to scale the test forms) is not my specialty, I am fairly confident in my assertion. I've got doctoral training in statistics and psychometrics, for what it's worth.
If any of you have questions about the scaling/equating process, I'll do my best to answer. But, I must reiterate that I merely have working knowledge of IRT and of the general process at the major testing companies...I'm not a true insider and/or high-level expert.

This was my second - I can tell you that I was MUCH calmer on the second test. I retook the actual first test I took as a practice test, and when I realized that the first logic game was doable, I almost killed myself. It was SO simple, but I'd been so stressed about it that I read it wrong and thought it would be too hard - so I just bubbled b all the way down. Turns out it was super simple, and so this go round I read much slower and carefully, and just blasted the games. I think.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
