I'm actually the most hopeful for hitting my PT range than I have been in the last two takes. I'm definitely going to have sex the night before, and get to bed early.

Re: The Official October 2015 Study Group
If I'm low on time, I look through the questions and decide which passage to read first. Usually most of the questions specific to one passage are specific to B. However, in the 70 PTs I've noticed most if not all questions are about both A and B.mornincounselor wrote:In the RC section from PT 75 J.Y. of 7sage mentions that for comparative passages it might be better to take a look through the questions before you read passage B. I've tried this on other pts from the 70s with limited success, but especially if you are running behind it may be a useful tactic.

For some reason, the ones that get me are like "how would Author A respond to this part in Passage B."mist4bison wrote:If I'm low on time, I look through the questions and decide which passage to read first. The titles question always gets me. I don't know why. I'm just never happy with the ACs.nlee10 wrote:For some reason, the ones that get me are like "how would Author A respond to this part in Passage B."mist4bison wrote:If I'm low on time, I look through the questions and decide which passage to read first. Cobbled together an Amazon order with my pencils and such. Roughly $2 short of getting all these add-ons sent. Any suggestions what I should buy?

I'm out guys, just withdrew today. I can't get my I.D. renewed on time like I thought I could, and more importantly I'm not scoring where I need to be. I'm determined to get at least a 165. I wish everybody good luck, especially the ones I've contacted through P.M. I know how hard you all have worked and I'm wishing you the best. December here I come.

I have also seen a slight drop in my last few PTs. I think it is just test day anxiety. Take a few days off before the test to relax & you will be fine!gamerish wrote:I don't even care about knowing my score distribution before blind review at this point
LR1: -6
RC: -6

What the hell am I supposed to do at this point. I didn't feel nervous but even if it was due to nerves it's obviously going to be way worse on the real thing if it affected me so much on just a PT

Re: The Official October 2015 Study Group
I took PT60 early Saturday a.m. and scored a 162 (LR1 -3, LG -6, LR2 -5, RC -10!!!!). Ran out of time with 2 left in LR2. 9 of the 10 on RC came on the last 2 passages when my upstairs neighbors were bouncing around. I totally skimmed the last passage due to time after getting all sorts of distracted. The -6 LG was actually higher than my previous PTs, but I couldn't figure out the last problem with 5 mins left. I spent the rest of the weekend doing homework and mentally preparing myself for the reality of a retake in Dec. Today I went golfing with my dad because I didn't think there was much progress to be made between now and Sat. I just finished the LG from PT3 in 33:59 and managed a -1!
Such a stupid mistake too. Obviously they're old games and finishing ONE games section in under 35 mins isn't close to the finish line, but I finally feel like I've made a breakthrough and I can do this (in December).

Telling you man that was a hard test. It felt different from every other LSAT it seemed like. Go back and boost your confidence with another test before Saturday. June test is typically the hardestgamerish wrote:I just got my lowest PT score ever on 75. I think actually going to throw up

Hey guys,
How much is everyone studying this week? (A lot, medium, little?)
Not sure how hard to go. Don't want to burn myself but don't want to sell myself short.
Any opinions would be greatly welcome ..

I'm going to drill hard through Thursday. No PTs this week and nothing on Friday. Some may suggest laying off on Thursday also. I'm still trying to make up for lost time.flash21 wrote:Hey guys,

Re: The Official October 2015 Study Group
PTing 75 tomorrow and reviewing it. Also taling 72 as times sections either tomorrow or Wednesday. I printed 61, 62, and 63 to use as timed sections Up until Thursday night. I'll probably review the Manhattan RC guide at some point too and need to drill the rest of the Misc games (I think I have 8 left).
Reviewed 73 tonight and realized I actually got a 172
. All of my other mistakes were really dumb. I think I have a tendency to pick out things that could make an answer wrong, but it's still the best AC.
I think I'll finish tonight with Determined assignment games. Haven't drilled these since last October.

game, I took this pt yesterday. Know that it has one of the harsh curves. You usually do well in rc. Anything that tripped you?gamerish wrote:I don't even care about knowing my score distribution before blind review at this point

I felt the same after it. Really not sure now how I can take Saturday test considering I have 2 scores already.
