In the anxiety of waiting I was like if I don't do great I could always do an accelerated MBA if I have to delay LS a year. TTTT MBA is only like 10k, it wouldn't help me much but at least I'd feel useful for the year and I could pay tuition cash since I could work through itOtunga wrote:Anybody else regularly thinking about other career paths as they wait for scores and application results?

Yeah. It's funny how law school tuition is uniform almost everywhere regardless of career prospects at the school. Going for a computer science degree has generally been appealing to me if not law school. They say philosophy majors like the courses and that kind of work.fnma2jd wrote:In the anxiety of waiting I was like if I don't do great I could always do an accelerated MBA if I have to delay LS a year. I was thinking that too but then I kind of thought about the fact that its kind of a necessary evil. Think about how much more saturated the the market would be if TTTT JDs were cheap.Otunga wrote:Yeah. My UG major was originally comp sci, I changed it when I started taking calc 1 and realized how screwed I was.

Re: December 2013 LSAT Waiting Thread
I was a philosophy/biology major and I think about other career paths all the time as well as dual degree programs. In fact, I was reading part of this thread on here today.Otunga wrote:Yeah. I worked in web development and really liked it, but I don't find the programming/technical side interesting at all or else I would've done the CS thing. Being in house counsel for a startup or tech company would be 180, though.

1) Don't say they have if they haven't. You'll be banned and endure TLS grouphate and groupshaming forever.
2) Don't discuss questions/answers til scores are out.
WHEN ICONS TURN:
1) Post and screenshot.
WHEN SCORES START COMING OUT IN WAVES:
1) If you are on the first wave, congrats! Help us all out by posting the curve (how many incorrect go get a 170). Screenshot it, especially if you aren't a regular poster here.
There always seems to be some vets with about 15 posts that decides to troll everyone and says the curve is -8 or -9, without posting a screenshot. Causes temporary freakout. This isn't funny or cute, and will endure TLS grouphate, groupshaming, and banning forever.
2) There are certain questions that were really tough, and likely many on this site struggled with. Posting the answers to these would be helpful to those waiting for scores with little else to do other than freak others out in distress.
3) There are often people that have 0 posts, and make their first post "omg 180 easiest test ever woohoo." They then disappear forever. Fuck those people. If you are a 180 scorer, stick around. Or at least screenshot.
THANKS AND GOOD LUCK

sorry guise. i was just riffing on the petty debate of gray vs. grey that's taken place in every waiting thread i've seen.PourMeTea wrote:snag NO
