Plot twist: Father left whacka as a child and is coming back after watching his life from behind the scenes, setting his plan in motion to vicariously become SCOTUS CJ through his son who has never seen him before in his life. He works for LSAC and rigged the scores and release date so that everything would promulgate in the way he planned...The perfect long-con.whacka wrote:my dad just texted me out of the blue "I have a feeling your lsat score will come today"

sorry. The reason I think there is a T16 is because they are not affected by the recession as much as everyone else. Their quality of jobs is up to the level with each other. Outside that group you see huge drop offs. WUSTL, minnesota, USC differ a lot from this T16 from the pay and opportunities.cdotson2 wrote:Edit your post so people think you are smarter, and can understand you. If you are in WUSTL you are probably are getting the missouri one that's why they don't publish their numbers. USC does because they get a couple 160k in LA but compare it to UCLA you see a bigger proportionbuckiguy_sucks wrote:big law quality of job can be drastically different but that's firm dependent and not a factor of the prestige of the big law job you're going intoplaceholder wrote: b/c quality of job needs to be factored in which means you need to salary as a factor. 110K is their top percentile for big law....
most big law firms pay market 160k i don't know what "110k is their top percentile for big law" is supposed to mean
ETA: this is to say that big law coming out of columbia does not mean your life will suck less than big law coming out of any school, and that you will still be getting paid 160k
T14 was created by U.S News from the idea these 14 schools are never outside the top 14. Once you compare them to other schools you see UCLA and Texas pretty much hold these qualities: top LSAT medians, consistent placement in 160k jobs, federal clerkship.

To hell with reason -- I'm joining you guys in collective neuroticism by demanding scores. LSAC should redress the wrong perpetrated by the Powerscore blog and release them today!

Re: The Official June 2015 Waiter's Thread
Everybody goes grey at the same time. Scores are released in batches, so there is no definite time frame from grey to score release. It took me about 4 hours to get my score. There are some sources that purport that the batches could last days, but I can't attest to the veracity of that. It would suck if that were the case.cdotson2 wrote:how many hours does the grey come before you get your score?jumbo2016 wrote:Tomorrow afternoon is very specific he must knowbenwyatt wrote: Joke's gonna be on you if they come out tomorrow afternoon.

You know there's no shitpoasting when you double post -- that means that people aren't posting on the minute! Also, I had no idea we were allowed to swear on the forums. I always tempered my language because of the assumption, but I see people do it all the time. Are we just getting away with it, or is it permitted?

Make it a 5/5 stars by telling us that the Calzones have betrayed you and then today's thread would be recommendable. It's all in your hands.benwyatt wrote:This thread gets 0/5 stars today.

Prior to the LSAT I received a paper mailing from a school Friday afternoon that said Good Luck on Saturday. I about had a heart attack and panicked as I frantically logged into LSAC to verify it was in fact on the 8th... Fuck that schoolbasedvulpes wrote:Just got an email from a TTT school that said LSAT in the subject line and I almost had a fucking heart attack
