Did 3 sets I've seen before and 1 set I've never seen before. Finished all within 28-32 minutes. Missed zero for two sets (including the one I'd never seen before) and minus -1 on the other two sets (stupid errors).

That's super! How was the September LG for you? I have barely done a handful of games ever since bombing in September. Will do 20 games today.

I feel like these forums are made specifically for non-tls peeps, I can't really think of anything to talk to specific schools about bc i either know what I want or feel it's a stupid question bc I know where to look for the answer.
MEAhrnsbrak(That was lame to type on my phone, ur name is rough :p) what kinda stuff did you talk about with the schools at the thing you went to?

Despite being active in the September thread, I did not take the September LSAT.
You're just a social butterfly that can't be confined to any one thread, and Ilu for that ;)

haha, the TLS community is pretty small when you think about it. I'm surprised not a lot of people even know about this, when you google a LSAT related question, TLS is usually in the top search results. lmao.

I talked about certain traits they looked for in applicants, how to strengthen my application, and that kind of stuff. They did a talk beforehand, so most of the regular questions had been answered. The most important thing to me was essentially what do I have to do to be accepted to your school.

LG section is killing me... Just took a PT and got -10 on LG (and ok, so I'm usually not THIS bad but I still typically get around -5 or -6 at best). I can do LG's fine and well within the time limit once I've reviewed them but whenever I do a new set I completely fall apart, esp for grouping games with subsets (and in/out games in general). I can't seem to finish within 35 min and I end up rushing and making one or two mistakes with the other q's.

I'm really at a loss at what to do. I'm mostly doing ok on the other sections :/ Does anyone have any ideas? I'm unsure how well drilling previous games will be because I tend to do great on games I've done before and reviewed, it's only ever with new sets.

Hi all. I'm new to this forum but love the way you keep each other accountable. Took my first PT today (68). Missed 7 in RC, 8 combined in LR, and 4 in LG \ 164. Anybody been there or want to work together to get to 170+ by Dec exam?

I second this.

I'm trying to get homework done over the weekend so I can concentrate more on LSATs during the week. We'll see how it goes because midterms are not over ;(. FML.

Counselor, don't you want to get your score beforehand? Or are you pretty sure you want to retake? (Speaking of getting the September scores... I'm literally dying inside every single time I log in to LSAC / think about how I'll know my score by Monday).

Finished PT 49.

This wraps up my PT heavy week. I believe I did like 4 PT's in the past 7 days to test my endurance. I scored over 155 on all of them (previously in the low 150's).

LG: 19/22
LR: 19/26
RC: 21/27
LR: 16/25

Either this LR definitely felt harder or was feeling fatigued. lol. Going to spend upcoming week reviewing the last 3 tests and following along with my BP class.

Good stuff, if you can get LG to a consistent -0 then you'll be over the 160 range with some modest gains in LR.
It's a hard process, I'm still working on it. I when i started i getting like -10 in LG, finally got it down to -0 to -4 but it took a lot of drilling

Wow so it's possible! I am getting -3 on average for LR/RC but -12-15 on LG...

You're in a good spot. Trying to improve on LR/RC is a lot harder than LG.

I too started off LG getting -10 to -12 wrong. After I started drilling, went down to about -3 to -6 instantly. Now I'm trying to get down to -0 to -3. At this point for me, it's all about consistency. Some games will still wreck me if I don't understand one of the rules correctly.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
