Hey who knows, maybe a few of us ITT will end up in the same school haha. I've lurked the c/o 2019 threads and a few of them are going to the same schools and some are in the same sections! That's cray, lol

Gonna make Cooley great again.
If any of y'all end up at the same school with me, let's team up for moot court.

When drilling PT's or sections of the past tests, do you guys suggest starting with earlier tests or more recent tests?

For drilling purposes, use the older testsPrezRand wrote:When drilling PT's or sections of the past tests, do you guys suggest starting with earlier tests or more recent tests?
eta: forgot to mention that you should use the more recent PT under timed conditions, at least that's the consensus around here

I think it's all personal preference where you want to have the cutoff.PrezRand wrote:Do you think there is a cutoff for the tests?TheMikey wrote:For drilling purposes, use the older testsPrezRand wrote:When drilling PT's or sections of the past tests, do you guys suggest starting with earlier tests or more recent tests?

To give you an idea, I use PT 21-40 for drilling, PT 41-50 for timed sections (not full timed PT, just the sections alone so I can get a feel for my timing in each section, still working on these though), and then PT 51 and on for fully timed PT.

Does anyone have any tips on how to get multiple copies of logic game sections? I just enrolled in a 7sage class and am planning on using the Fool Proof method for -0 on LG, but all of my PT are hard copies and im not sure how I would be able to print out multiple copies. Just wondering if anyone has come across an easy way to do that

I tend to do them on looseleaf ... especially if I'm not doing a run concerned with time.Replitz wrote:Photocopy?JGPGH wrote:Does anyone have any tips on how to get multiple copies of logic game sections? Now that I'm drilling fresh logic games, I'm realizing how much longer it takes. Haha.

Today:
-LG from: PT 73 (done this morning) (-0, a whopping 32 min)
-PT 65 LG
-PT 68 LG
-5 linear games from 1-20
-Finish MLR ch 3 (or whatever chapter I was on...)
- Drill SA and mixed assumptions
- Hopefully some more LR
- 1 RC section
Some of these newer LG throw me off in weird ways. Gs 1 and 2 from PT 73 are definitely the most difficult for me, and 3 are 4 are not too bad. 7sage says the opposite. Idk if this is an effect of me having spent too much time with weird early games.

I imagine a lot of the weird games tend to hinge on one or two key inferences where if you get those they are a cake walk... many medium difficulty games seem to be like that IMO... like it is not that uncommon that I finish a grouping game with set slots like 30% faster on my first try than the JY recommended time these days.Alexandros wrote:Today:

Whoa there Alex, that's a lot for just 1 day don't you think? 2 PTs (65 and 68) in 1 day? Or do you mean just the LG from those PTs? If you meant 2 full PT, take it easy manAlexandros wrote:Today:

Hopefully another big day today, I put in around 5 hours yesterday but only managed to BR PT 63 and BR an old LR section I was drilling. Hoping I can can 2 RCs and 2 LG sections done today and maybe even nail my LORs down.
OT: Has anyone started the new HBO show 'The Night Of...' yet? 2 episodes only so far but it's actually intense enough to get my mind off of the LSAT for a whole hour.

Just went -0 on the RC section for PT 75, in 30 minutes. Same for Logic Games. Last time I took this test, I think I went -5 on each.
Feels good. Starting to get my confidence back. I think I just need to wake up super early on the day of the LSAT, do a YUUUUGGGEEEE warmup section, and really get my brain firing on all cylinders.

Finally finished BRing June 2011...
Taking test...
LR 1; -9 [ick, didn't finish and guessed on 21-24 all incorrectly]
LR2; -3 [actually finished the section]
LG; -4
RC; -10 [didn't finish, and really dumb errors]
160
after BR...
LR1; -2
LR2; -2
LG; -0
RC; -2
173
Blegh... timing, pressure, and stress.

Ah, no, I have not. And tbh I've been feeling inexplicably grouchy and not good. I think I've just figured out why.

I just did a sciencey geologist passage that bored the hell out of me (they all do), and went 5/5. It's not up to par with your RC sKiiLLzZ but HEY I'm getting there! I'm starting to become more confident with this slight RC improvement that I'm seeing. I'm glad I finally found a way to actually approach RC in a better way than I was before, but I still have tons of improvement to make!

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
