i think i was prob the same age range, had pneumonia when i was 2 #badparents lol but seriously dd you know they used to have pox parties? Still do in some areas today (in order to spread it and gain immunity as opposed to getting vaccinated, which now has what's called shedding and making mutated virus strains where ppl previously vaccinated can still catch a form of chicken pox) tl/drDirigo wrote:I wanna say 4.5-5 years old.justabitunusual wrote:How old were you? Rigo you are right about the curve because I got +3 more right on my raw score from my previous test, which converted to a 163.

I try to take positives away from each experience but this one is tough. Can you just explain exactly why the scaled score is so insane? basically from what I've gathered the norm is -12 and this is -8 to hit 170.Dirigo wrote:I wonder why they make that the free one. Eta but not sure what that means exactly honestly other than how it relates to total wrong allowed for that scored to be reached

Here's what I read once: Questions are assigned difficulty ratings based on how many people miss them when they are in experimental sections. The curve for each test form is based on the difficulty ratings of its constituent questions.TheWalkingDebt wrote:I try to take positives away from each experience but this one is tough. Yeah but a small curve means an easier test no?RZ5646 wrote:

In theory, yes. I feel like I tend to miss around the same number from test to test regardless of the curves, so I don't fetishize curves like others do. June 2007 is nuts though.TheWalkingDebt wrote:Yeah but a small curve means an easier test no?RZ5646 wrote: Here's what I read once: Questions are assigned difficulty ratings based on how many people miss them when they are in experimental sections. In theory all PTs have the same difficulty. That's what the curve is for.TheWalkingDebt wrote:Yeah but a small curve means an easier test no?RZ5646 wrote:

A small curve would just mean that the questions are easier than average and they had to adjust for that so the median wasn't like 160.

It ended up being a decent waiters thread after the most severe lull I've ever seen after the first few days.
Good recovery. Bravo.
