How did you go -0 in both LR? That bird-paradox question and the "I'm late" question.

Any suggestions for the harder assumption and paradox questions?

On my last 10 tests, I've been averaging a 179 (175 - 180). That said, I've done a truly enormous amount of studying - on and off for almost a year with a few administrations in the can already. In order to break through to that top level, you need to have standard procedures that you apply to all sections, stimuli, and answers, and apply them rigorously. I developed these both through a prep class, advice on the forums, and my own experimentation. That said, I would really not worry given your recent performance. If I could have gotten 172 on my last take, I would not have done all this studying and prep over the last three months.
With that mentality, it's very likely you (and many other posters here) will be successful no matter what. Definition of grit, right there.

Unless your internship precludes you from taking the exam, you shouldn't worry. A fresh PT during the last week of prep is no essential to getting a good score. As long as you have learned the material and keep a familiarity of the test (even with retakes) you will be absolutely fine.

I really don't know what else to do. Only one PT left. I've been going through every LG from 1-40 but even that will be done soon. 9 days left till the exam -- I've even resorted to trying to make my own LSAT questions lol.

Check it out m'bois. The worst imitation of an LSAT question to ever exist.

Astronauts near Jupiter have recently heard noises on their radio which they interpreted as gravitational waves from the outer edges of the solar system. This position is false: the sounds most likely belonged to aliens trying to communicate with humans.

Which of the following would strengthen the author’s viewpoint?

Animals on Earth make noises similar to the ones heard on the radio.
Gravitational waves oftentimes make their way to our solar system.
Jupiter has a thick atmosphere that blocks any untargeted, broad signals.
All of the astronauts on board believe in aliens.
If there was a way aliens could communicate with humans, it would be through radio.

I'm interning at a DA's office so I'm sure they'll understand it just won't exactly make me look great when I have to say "Hey, btw I'm an idiot and turns out I can't come in the first day! Hope a week's notice is sufficient!" I also had plans to go see my girlfriend before she goes away from the summer and now those plans are up in the air. Really what's bugging me is that I felt super ready and now I have to keep this going for another week which sucks

I also have a summer position that starts on June 12, and they were extremely lenient when I told them about the LSAT. I wouldn't worry.

As for "keeping it going," I truly suggest retakes. I I broke through a plateau mainly through retakes. I have terrible memory regarding the details of the questions so each one is like new for me, but if you have been studying for a while you can recycle your earlier PTs. An added bonus is that you run a lower risk of having a low outlier score close to test day. At the end of the day, you aren't going to forget the stuff, so all you need to focus on is staying sharp, which doesn't require fresh material.

I advocate retakes here as well. PTs only need to be fresh so you can evaluate your "true" performance, but my retakes and fresh tests have been in the same range.

Did pt66 today in a loud coffeeshop while my friends were hanging out enjoying the nice weather AND while knowing I was missing the first half of the Champions League final.
RC:-2
LR:-3
LG:-0
Experimental RC:-3.
Score: 176

I got lucky on LG, almost totally blew it. Only had 5 minutes going into the last game, luckily it was easy and I could finish it in time. Feeling pretty good, I've improved on LR which was a big weak point and a big cause of stress for me. I haven't reviewed yet but I'm pretty sure that RC should've been -0. Looking forward to a similar performance next monday.

PT 78 today in a semi noisy environment (public library)

LR 1 -2 LG -1 LR 2 -2 RC -3 EXP LG (PT 39) -2

Very happy with this result, first time I've gotten back to back 170+ scores, I think I'm peaking at the right time!!

PT 79 for tomorrow, 80 for Tuesday then C2 for next Saturday. Thought about saving some recent PTs for a September retake but I'm going all in on June.

Well, I took PT 79 today and got a 170:

LR1 -3
RC -6
LG -1
LR2 -2

I feel like most of you are LR gods but getting -5 total on LR for me feels fantastic. Now I know this probably had an "easier" LR because of the virus game and Eileen Gray but still..

But I've been doing worse on RC lately and not sure why. And I didn't miss them all on Eileen Gray. Can't quite figure out why performance is dropping lately. I used to be reliably -2/-3 max on this section.

Ok LSAT peeps. I need some talking down from the ledge on this question in my review.

PT 75. LR2 (section 3) Q5. (Putting my frustration/AC in spoiler mode so it won't affect anyone who hasn't taken the test yet.
[+] Spoiler
TCR is A: Home ownership makes it more difficult to move to a place where jobs are more plentiful.
Originally I had chosen this, but marked the question for review. I changed my answer when I circled back after finishing the section and chose E (looking at it today, the reason I ended up choosing E is less compelling than it felt yesterday, but it is still there.
E states: People are more likely to buy homes when they are feeling economically secure. Obvious objection I can hear from people is 'unemployment makes you not economically secure'. I agree with that objection *partly*. My deal (and apparently when I was taking the section) is that unemployment could also be a result of feeling economically secure. If you are economically secure and unemployed, why would you be looking for a job?

Is this just me reading too much into a question? I'm starting to see a trend where my gut instinct on a question (i.e. my first chosen answer) is typically correct, and I miss more by switching later. I guess I might be overthinking things when I'm not 100% certain on an AC.

Anybody have any suggestions as to how to schedule my last 3 PTs (78-80) next week? I usually do Mon-Wed-Fri but maybe I'm thinking do Tues-Thurs-Sat instead.

Today was the day I set aside for PT 80. Wasn't sure what to expect. Felt pretty good until the last section, where I knew I was losing focus and honestly, half the questions seemed difficult. I swear that my kids can tell when I am gonna PT the next day and keep me up all night. Anyways...

Raw 87, Scaled 168
LR1: -3
RC: -4
LG: -0
LR2: -7 (missed 5 of the last 8)
Did all 4 sections straight through, no break.

All things considered, I will take it.

Read way too much into it. E doesn't account for the word "surprising" in the stimulus.

Should note that my employers do NOT know about the LSAT or law school or anything. I have an annual review the week after scores come out and I'm planning on dropping the bomb then.

PT 78 today.
167. a lot of things went wrong today, it was originally a 166 but I misbubbled.
LR1 -5
RCexp -2
LG -1
LR2 -1
RC-8

Idk what even happened with the RC. I made many dumb mistakes in LR1, like misbubbleing and conceptually missing things. For LG, the only one I missed was one where I tested the correct answer choice, found that it was correct, and then pick another one with vague circling.
Second proctored test where I got wayyyy below my target. At this point idk if I should just postpone.

Bruh. You got this. We're all gonna crush June. Review your mistakes again tomorrow and figure out why things went wrong. I was freaking out yesterday about missing 12 LR on a single PT. Looked back at it today, and the biggest reason for my misses was just careless reading. I got in a hurry because I got overconfident and just didn't read everything. For me, that means I slow down a bit on my next PT. Expecting that to iron out those kinks.

Takes for granted that what I told my boss is what I will be doing. Fails to consider that one can drink Jack and simultaneously slap the bag.
