+1. This is why you pick NYC over Stanford. Gotta pay for that water in Cali now.drtamale wrote:whacka wrote:so once we all go to nyu are we gonna have shitpoasters' happy hour

Re: The Official June 2015 Waiter's Thread
if you would read my post instead of getting defensive, you'd see that I was criticizing the decision to go to law school for no reason whatsoever - if you, too, are planning to go to law school for no reason, then my insight and guidance are "no"carterjo wrote: I am married with two kids and plan on attending law school in 2016. I have a good amount of savings and 100% scholarship (GI Bill); however, after reading this post I am deeply concerned about my future. Will my marriage / family make it through three rigorous years of law school Whacka? I request your insight and guidance immediately so I can plan accordingly.

Re: The Official June 2015 Waiter's Thread
this is gonna sound really ignorant because I've only lived in crime-free suburbs and small towns my whole life, but is living in a crappy neighborhood that bad for a young twenty-something? Obviously wouldn't start a family in one, but does it get the job done if I just need a place to sleep between classes?benwyatt wrote:HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA THAT IS A FUNNY JOKEruizdaw wrote:And for 2,000 a month you are getting a decent two bedroom which means split costs.
Literally the only way that will happen is if you want to live far from campus and/or in a crappy neighborhood.

Perhaps it would be more accurate to say that you're going for a completely inadequate reason, then.drtamale wrote:i didnt say i was going for no reason. you just dont like my reasoning i guess.whacka wrote:if you would read my post instead of getting defensive, you'd see that I was criticizing the decision to go to law school for no reason whatsoever - if you, too, are planning to go to law school for no reason, then my insight and guidance are "no"carterjo wrote: I am married with two kids and plan on attending law school in 2016. 6-8 for craft beer? I'd imagine that it's around 8 more often that not, because I see a lot of $6 craft beer in Texas.
