I'm curious to hear what you guys think of my particular situation. My last practice test scored a 169 (I'm shooting for at least a 165) with an 80% RC 80% LR and 96% LG distribution. The games are by far my best section, I rarely if ever have gotten below 90% so in some senses this is where I make up a lot of my points. I know for certain I had to random guess on 4 RC questions before time went out, and did not feel comfortable with the answers I put prior to that point (god damn you inferential thinking!!). My first LR I have no idea what to expect because the first 4 minutes of the section there was chaos going on between my proctor and one of the ladies outside trying to sort out someones testing situation (I had to skip 3 of the first 10 questions but finished with enough time to come back and complete). My last LR section which definitely seemed to have counted (god damn you isotopes!!) I felt very burnt in the middle of and can't really gauge. Games I have no issue with. What should I expect? A low 160? maybe a 165? High 150's?
Assuming you go -0 on games (which you should have - LG is my weak link and I'm pretty sure I went perfect), and assuming the curve is -10/11 (the general consensus), you would need to get no more than -17/18 wrong, respectively, to get a 165. (source:
https://www.powerscore.com/lsat/help/co ... rgeted.cfm Do you think you got that many wrong between the two LRs and RC? For a 160 you would need to get no more than 27 or 28 wrong among those three (again, look at the link). I find it hard to believe that anyone scoring high 160s on PTs could get 28 wrong across three sections, so I think it's a safe bet that you scored higher than 160.
