hmm alright. I just finished the Superprep intro material and am starting the bibles today so it isn't too late to switch up my plan, if necessary. Since you said you regret not doing it, Do you think that the LSATtrainer would be more beneficial for me to do now before the BIbles?TheMikey wrote:Personally, I didn't being with the LSAT trainer although I regret it because I know that it is amazing. I finished the intro section to the Official LSAT Superprep book, and am moving onto the complete Powerscore Bible collection. After the Bibles, I plan to purchase many PTs.
In addition to these books and setup, is there another prep book that anyone has had success with that could strengthen my study materials? Manhattan.. etc? I saw some earlier comments on Blueprint, 7sage for RC?
Please Advise,
Thanks.
Seems like a lot of the recent comments gave a thumbs up to the LSAT trainer study plans. Could you do that in conjunction with the Bibles or is it better to do it by itself first?

Re: The Official September 2016 Study Group
I believe so, yeah. It'll give you a good sense of the sections in a simple way. That's why I regret not using it when I first started prepping. There's some people who are retakers that use the trainer with already knowing things, and still find it useful. So I think it's useful no matter what step in your prep you're in, but I also believe it's probably most beneficial when first starting out if you don't know anything about the test. Good luck!jagerbom79 wrote:hmm alright. I just finished the Superprep intro material and am starting the bibles today so it isn't too late to switch up my plan, if necessary. Just finished going through the Trainer. I'm a third time retaker and it was definitely worth going through for a refresher. Now onto LG bible!

even though its a very inaccurate portrayal of biglaw, watching the 1st episode of Suits is good LSAT motivation

First day of study starts tomorrow. Just printed out my 16-wk Trainer schedule.
I'm surprised how nervous I am about it. I think it's this sinking feeling my first diagnostic will be a 130 or something, lol.

Drilled RC from PT 53 today - finished with a minute left and missed 2.
Will be drilling PT 54 RC tomorrow to see if it was a fluke.

Officially postponing from June to September
Here's to five months of LSAT joy. May they be the last months I'll ever have to spend on the LSAT.

Alright, I have the outlines of my study schedule down. I was way to lax/informal when I started prepping for June, so I'm going to be much more structured this time. Starting out with Blueprint Logic Games and am really liking it so far. Anyone else have a good experience with it?

Semi checking in. I took the LSAT for the first time in December and didn't score as high as I had hoped. I haven't decided if I want to take it again in September or December this year.

Curious, why wouldn't you take in September, considering there is plenty of time to study for it, between now and then? I mean, taking in December gives you limited options if you don't do well, but September allows you to re-take in December if needed.mintme wrote:Semi checking in. Re: The Official September 2016 Study Group
I've realized that I kind of need a class to get me on track / focused / direction / in the groove and have the social pressure / separate space that I can specifically associate with the LSAT.
Sitting in on a Blueprint class tomorrow. Sitting in on a Testmasters class next Tuesday. Can let people know what I think of the respective classes if you'd like, but I'd probably just suggest anyone to sit in on them. I arranged both within a day.
Powerscore books came in the mail. Cannot sit in on PowerScore classes apparently.
