Re: The Official February 2016 Waiter's Thread
Does anyone remember how many questions were on the real LG section? 22 or 23?
Thanks
God, I keep on recalculating what I could have gotten, what I likely got, what I optimally got, and what I need.
This is awful.
Thanks

Re: The Official February 2016 Waiter's Thread
I spent almost FIFTEEN MINUTES on the first passage about the sculptor and thought I was FUCKED. I always have a lot of trouble with the "minorities in the arts" passages. I frankly can't give a damn about the differences between aesthetic/style/subject matter so the questions always just confuse me and piss me off.lsat_hellhole wrote:I think it was unfair to those of us who got the real RC at the end when we were the most tired. By the time I got to the last 2 absurdly confusing and difficult passages, I was just exhausted. I'm going to complain about this.footballlax55 wrote:I got screwed with the reading experimental. Had the real section last and was tired and unfocused and the one passage about moral imperatives just seemed so dense my eyes glazed over and I was about to quit. The rest of the passages didn't seem bad, just boring. Maybe 1 or 2 of them had 1 legitimately tough question and a couple were kinda tough. If I hadn't been tired it might have been not too bad so I'd say the reading was maybe just fairly tougher than usual, but not crazy hard.
And the LG seemed to be average/slightly easier than average. I would have finished 3 or 4 min early, but I forgot a rule or two and the standard acceptable situations for 2 of the games took way longer than they should have.
I think if people messed up an important inference or two on the harder games they would have taken a lot longer/ got more wrong.
The 25 question LR seemed to be easy up until the last third and then I think like the last question or two were real hard.
And the 26 question LR seemed to be even easier in the beginning and didn't have the one or two super hard questions but had more kinda hard questions.
I'm thinking there will be a -12 curve because it seemed barely harder than average.
Anyway, I got through that (with some shaky answers, I think) and flew through the next three, afterwards thinking that they threw a curveball by putting the hardest one first. After reading TLS I guess not everyone felt the same.

I think one had 23, but I forget if that was the experimental one.

It is against TLS rules. Don't ask/answer this.TheMikey wrote:I didn't take yesterday's test and if it's not against TLS' rules, I'm curious as to how many grouping games, sequencing games, etc. there was on the real LG section?

I think it's pretty normal. I felt like that about Dec test but ended up doing fairly wellzeglo wrote:Hello; first time posting on this thread! I took the February 2016 LSAT yesterday. It was my first time sitting for the test, but I've been studying/practicing since early October at a medium rate. I think I did well. I thought the LG section was relatively easy while the RC was challenging. Hoping for a 165+, applying in the 2016-2017 cycle.
Also, is it normal to think you did terribly and only remember the hard questions? I feel like I bombed every RC question, but I am guessing that's just bias to remember the questions with which you had trouble.

I feel better about it than I did last night. I still don't think I did as well as I had hoped, but don't think I outright bombed it.RonnyDiniro wrote:How's everyone doing this post LSAT morning
Also, I realized I've already been accepted and while a little extra scholly money would be nice that not everything was riding on this one score.

When a school makes a decision do they email you or do you have to just continuously check the status updater website thingsShib26 wrote:I feel better about it than I did last night.
