You can do it!peppermint wrote:Haha, thanks Red & Mist. I managed to drag myself off my extremely comfy couch & am now sitting at the kitchen table with a stack of Weaken & Strengthen questions (and my mom's delicious pumpkin chocolate chip cookies!)
I'm determined to get back on schedule before the weekend's over. Here goes!
I just finished Drilling Level 1's and 2's from Strengthen while fitting in some Black Friday shopping.

I've been sort of slacking on RC and LG this week but time to get serious starting Monday!

The costco pumpkin pie made an appearance at my thanksgiving and was promptly devoured.mist4bison wrote:Ummm, so since last Saturday I've eaten a whole pie and like 1/4 of a Costco pie, which is ginormous.JackelJ wrote:Is this about the pie? And I need to get to 100 posts so I can post cute puppy countdown pictures too![]()
Only 60ish more to go. Although, you'll never top my adorable furchild.
I can accept that haha. Is that actually your furchild in the picture? If so are there any siblings I can adopt?

Re: The Official February 2015 Study Group
Question for you all.
I haven't reached the score I want in my PTs yet (170+)--I'm about 5 points away depending on my performance. I'm pretty sure I am going to take the Feb LSAT and have been prepping since August. I am tempted to go sit for the December LSAT with the expectation of canceling it just so I can experience what it is like to take an official test. If for some reason I felt like I had a stellar performance I may consider using the score (very unlikely). Dumb idea? How do you think law school committees would view the cancelation?

Hey. Unless you already submitted apps/let schools know you are taking it, they won't know about the cancellation.Sherlock1122 wrote:Question for you all.

Re: The Official February 2015 Study Group
I was where you are now about a week ago. Break did it for me, but then, I was taking it slow for couple weeks prior too! So, maybe all of it helped. Burnout is real with this test. You are NOT going to forget the material (no such thing) or lose your skills permanently! It generally takes only couple days to get back where you were. Weeks long 'total break' on the other hand, is a different story. Perhaps just take it slow for a week or two, and then take a long weekend off around x-mas! That should do!mist4bison wrote:I'm really to start feeling burnt out.And taking time off really hasn't helped. I don't know what to do. Maybe i should change venues and go to coffee shops more? Every time I sit down to my desk I just get so bored/distracted after 5 questions. Ugh.

Welcome!j907 wrote:Hey everyone. Checking in for the Feb test! Registered for next week's test but I seem to have hit a plateau as far as my PT average is concerned. Hoping to improve it by giving it a couple of extra months. On a related note, is anyone using the LSAT Trainer? Is it effective?
There were a lot of people who postponed to Feb (myself included) for the same reason.
The Trainer is pretty good for LR. I sort of skipped over the LG chapters because I already use 7Sage's way and RC is typical of any RC book. It's worth a read now that we have about 9 weeks left.
