At least they can continue to have no friends. There's something to be said about consistency.
no friend is worth befriending pre-LSAT score 170+
the best friends you will get will be post-LSAT score 170+

Where'd you get them Oxford pencils? Are they circular in shape?
Dre. MD,
They are hexagonal. I bought them in a stationary store in northern Europe.
I believe the core is dragonheartstring, but I could be mistaken. I took one out of the book to write with before I bought them and could feel that they were the "write" ones for me. The pencil chooses the writer, if you ask me.

Bought this a couple days ago: --LinkRemoved--
Seemed like a good deal, and a good way to check out some of the best pencils on the market. Will post my thoughts on the included #2 pencils.

I agree with deputydog. I think you got a really great deal. Now you can canvass the strengths and weaknesses of each pencil, and purchase the one you like in 12 or 24 pack.

I ordered it with just the $2 postal shipping, so it only came out to $10 total. I figured two months will be more than enough time for them to arrive and potentially fall in love with one. Will definitely let you know what I think!

I just scored a 175 with only a tri-write. Perhaps it is time that this thread reevaluates the efficacy of the tri-write. It held it's point surprisingly well.

Nah I'm not feeling the tri writes. I've given em a shot but they haven't won me over. I ordered the collection pack with the 602 Blackwing's -- those should be legit.

It wasn't, nor was it my PR. But it is a surprising result nonetheless.

I'm a big fan of the tri-writes. With the way with people talk about the Ticonderogas, I'm starting to get pretty excited for my tri-conderogas to arrive in the mail. Unless the Black Warrior really impresses me, I'll be taking June with a tri-write, either Pentech or Tri-conderoga.

Just ordered some tri-conderogas and black warriors to try.
Has anyone used a #2 Faber Castell pencil? German engineering...

I used to use them for drawing and shit... iirc they were pretty great, and the grips on the side were badass, but no eraser = not an option for me...

I'm not sure why, but seeing you comment about Irvine has become one of my favorite parts about TLS.

Personally, I would rather have a really good pencil and a really good eraser seperatly vice a combined ok pencil and ok eraser combined.

But you can have a good pencil and a good eraser. What if the separate eraser falls off the table, or you instinctively start using your pencil, only to smudge the ink?

To each his own. Personally, I'd be pretty uncomfortable without having one there, even though I have my own eraser.

Not sure which side of the "attached eraser or not" debate this helps, but I'm gonna get me some of these and then take some Faber Castells for a spin on my next PT...
