Sorry, I read your thing and came out with wrong idea (happens to me in LR too haha).
I think you have the right mindset, trust your training and ignore the "oh shit this is the real thing" thoughts on test day. Best of luck!

Does something weird have to happen to me during every PT?

RC: -4
LG: -0
LRexp: -4
-12 for a 170.

Re: 10 weeks to a 180
Took PT 47 (Oct 05) this morning. LR1: -4, RC: -2 (i honestly don't think i have gotten a different score on RC EVER...knock on wood), EXP LR: -2, LR2: -2, LG: -0 for a 172.
NOT BAD! Now for a nap, and then I'll review. Hope everyone's doing well. I need to start meditating or something because I keep letting my brain wander and thinking of horrific things, like misbubbling sections, or getting a mauve dinosaur type game, or suddenly freezing up on RC which I typically breeze through. I think I'm going to treat Dec test as a practice one, or try to convince myself that it is.

-8 for a 172 on PT52. Considering the hangover and the relatively new material, pretty psyched!
Cheers everyone. Happy Thanksgiving eve!

Good job, man! That was actually the one that I felt ushered in the new wave of LSAT's. It seemed like they were all different after that one, so - to me - it wasn't an old one, by any means. That's a good job, especially considering!
Yeah, hope everyone has a nice thanksgiving!

Is that the first one where they introduced comp reading? If so I might switch up jun 07 with pt 52

i am envious! nice work, keep it up! i'm going to work on keeping my timing up on LR's, i've been getting right down to the wire and when the lsat timer announces 5 minutes left i start getting all panicky and miss the last few. slow and steady...ideally i should be on problem...22? 23? at 5 minutes left, anyway. which i have been.

-3 for a 179. old test but almost all of it felt completely new. LETTS GOOO!!!
One question at a time. Never rushed. I moved on without evaluating other answer choices when I felt 100%, made 0 mistakes. I´m sure my score was inflated a little bit but I can´t help but feel PSYCHED!
I smoked RC, -1, LG -0, LR1 -0, LR 2 -2.
I´m not going to get ahead of myself, but this is VERY assuring.
Happy Turkey Day everyone!

Re: 10 weeks to a 180
Taking a PT tomorrow, then one Monday, and one last one on Wednesday. I work Thursday and Friday but am going to try and give away my shift on Friday 7:30-3 so that I can sleep in the day before the test and just lounge around and watch movies. Still can't decide what to do. Need the money and it's totally brainless work (think barista) but it would be nice to sleep in...thoughts anyone? Maybe I'll just see if I can trade...

Wow, that's incredible. You killed your previous best, and on the most recent test. Congrats!
What do you think changed you as an LR taker? You seem like you're on another level now.

DAMN. nice work dude. and yes, please tell us how you are rocking those LR scores. that is what decides the test for me pretty much, since i pretty consistently get -0 on LG and -2/-3 on RC, but my LR varies and that is what makes me swing between a 170 and a 180. we're so close!!! wahoo!!!

Re: 10 weeks to a 180
For LR: I've just been flying through the questions lately.
and sometimes I have a few minutes at the end to look over the questions I'm not sure about. I think that constantly doing PT's, every two days that is has REALLY helped my accuracy increase. Answer anticipation helps a ton.....

Re: 10 weeks to a 180
Holy crap!
I redid the LG sections and LR from Oct 11 untimed (roughly LG took 40 mins / LR 35/35 mins) and went:
LG -2 (test day: -9)
LR1 -3 (test day: -11)
LR2 -4 (test day: -12)
The mistakes i made in LR were the same ones I made on testday, so I clearly have a resource to figure out what is wrong in my understanding of the test.
While I will take these reviewing results with a grain of salt, it's exciting and inspiring to see my improvement in two months!
Let's kill it these last few weeks guys!

nice work! i was so confused when i retook oct 11- there were only a few LR questions that i got the same wrong on both times. definitely less wrong in general on the 2nd time around through, though...still weird. YOU GOT THIS!

Good stuff, drill that RC until you have your Matrix moment!
I woke up at 6:00am and decided to create a warm-up regimen. I did a game, a RC passage, and 12 LR questions (half of a LR section). I only missed 1 question and it was a silly one on RC. I do think that this can be a real positive; the ability to review my habits and reinforce my behaviors, the morning of the test, seems like it can ensure that I do it in the test room. However, I'm not sure if I should grade this work - in the future. While I feel pretty good about only missing 1 question, I can see the possibility of blowing a game, missing a few RC's, a few LR's (just because it's so early in the morning) and it affecting my confidence.
Any thoughts?
Off to do PT 62!

PT 62:
LR1: -5
LR2: -3
RC: -1
LG: -1
RCX: -4
-10 for a 173.
Best RC, yet. LR felt rough. Oh well, not too bad.
Can't wait till I take the next December one and really exploit that curve
