Definitely. I was going to get my apps in before the score release, but now I feel even better about that.Tazewell wrote:Saw this and got super pumped! Pretty staggering drop in top scores.
Also, with that data in mind, does anyone think that's why the December test seemed like a relatively easy test? I know they're all normalized as best as possible, but still think they had to have known it was a relatively easy exam.
I don't think that's necessarily why the Dec felt easy. They equate these things well in advance, and I fully expect that the ease will be corrected for with a less forgiving curve.

Lived a bit north of Seattle for a few years and now I'm in Tucson. Never got used to midwest winters. I AIN'T NEVER GOIN BACK unless my best option is UChicago or UMichtuesdayninja wrote:Haha yup, Holland MI my whole life basically but now I'm in Chicago. Noooooooo. I like PNW winters. It stays mild near the coast and never really snows, but it gets really snowy in the mountains so you can still shred.tuesdayninja wrote:Midwest winter is best winter
Yeah, well alumnus. I was just up in Phoenix on Wednesday checking out the town. Hiked around Echo Canyon a bit and went crusing around looking for stuff to photograph.Pozzo wrote:What's up, Tucson? Awesome news. Hopefully the trend keeps up. I wonder if this was because of Septembers curve being harsh compared to actual performance and people not scoring as well, or just an overall drop in applicants.Pozzo wrote:You guys see the cycle data from Spivey?!

How do the decimal points work? Are they rounded up/down or just dropped?Pozzo wrote:Nice data, b-man!bearedman8 wrote:I decided that instead of working on my PS, I was going to calculate the average number of misses for each score under a -11 and -10 curve. I didn't check for -12 because I'm pretty confident it'll be -11 or -10.
