I'm struggling too. May have to go with something a bit more humble...The motto

Official making a big deal about the Personal statement. I have a bunch of half and quarter written ideas, but none of which I particularly like.

Hi Yawl,

I have this special way of procrastinating where instead of doing urgent stuff when I should, I do less-urgent work. This translated to me spending lots of time on my apps during the week before LSAT, whenever I didnt feel like studying. As a result, Ive already sent off my apps with a totally kickass PS. I'd be happy to lend a critical eye to those struggling to get their PSs written. I'm 30+, PhD, university professor FWIW. PM if interested.

Also, I heard from someone in a T14 admissions office that there may indeed be some slight advantage to submitting your app earlier rather than later even if you have no score/LSAC cannot send their CAS report. Not sure the exact reason. Maybe it helps your app get read a bit earlier, I imagine they get a sizable wave of apps coming complete right after Grey Day.

Man, I'm planning some things that are contingent on getting the score I need on the LSAT. NOTSUREIFSMART. Going to feel really silly if I don't get what I need. :!:

ON TOPIC (lol):

Do you guys refer to what you want to do as becoming an attorney or a lawyer? Is there a difference?

Anyone know a site with an accurate list of conversion tables for PTs?

I found https://www.cambridgelsat.com/resources ... on-charts/

I'm wondering if anyone knows whether that is accurate and whether there are any sources that do the full range of scores (120-180)

What were you PT'ing at + what do you think is a score you're reasonably likely to get?

I'm in a similar situation. App'd to schools with a low 150 score, waiting on Dec score.

mneh, I was PTing 164-169, I am hoping for a 166-169 on the december test, anything above or below and I would be a bit surprised or disappointed, respectively. Im just very paranoid second guessing myself. I dont feel great about LG #3, I had to straight up guess for two of the Qs and on others when brute forcing I just stopped at the first answer that worked and didnt run through the rest of the alternatives to make sure (lack of time). I felt good about #4 but am second guessing myself because of how hard others seemed to find it.

Hah, well I was PT'ing basically that, and guessed *completely* on the final 2 games, and think there's a good chance I still got within the range you mentioned. Didn't really diverge too much from my usual PT's. I tend to make up for LG with LR and RC.

Me too, and I used to rock the pre-60s PT LR and RC sections, -0 to -2. But I saw an uptick starting maybe late 60s. Hopefully I still kept it down to -2 or less, but its just a question of how many of the ~5-8 really tricky questions go my way.

I thought there were fewer parallel reasoning Qs than normal, which, yeah, fuck parallel reasoning with a tire iron.

EXACTLY what I thought. I thought I noticed fewer PR questions than usual, and the ones that were there, were easier as well. This is my weakest LR question type.

I decided that instead of working on my PS, I was going to calculate the average number of misses for each score under a -11 and -10 curve. I didn't check for -12 because I'm pretty confident it'll be -11 or -10.
