Don't know if this was directed at me or sweets, but if I go PhD route it won't be to work in academia. I think I would hate academia. If I got a PhD I would work in industry and most likely move into management at some point. At least this is what many people I have talked to in industry told me (both PhD and BS)Dirigo wrote: Don't do academia. My friend did and hated it. That job market is tougher than the legal market.

Thanks! I'm just considering the option of doing a fully funded Masters program in political science for lulz. Probs a bad idea.

I may do that too, especially some of the "executive" style masters programs that are less than 2 years for those with a lot of WESweetTort wrote:Dirigo wrote:Btw, late post for SweetTort on LSAT score expiration. (I think he deleted his question though so hopefully it was answered)

If the masters is something you're interested in, def look into it more and keep the option open.
Follow up: does NU consider masters programs as time off from undergrad?

When the time comes, do what you want. If you want a masters, do that.
Stop being neurotic ST. Go out and drink like a normal sophomore.
Eh, I will once I get back on campus. This is how I avoid family.
