Scantron- how sensitive is it? I accidently erased an answer in the wrong section then couldn't go back and fill it in again. Will the machine see it as the darkest mark (since erasers don't take it away entirely) and count it? Additionally, if I changed some answers (for RC I fill in last 5 at beginning of section in case I run out of time) but, again, the erased mark doesn't go away entirely but there is obviously a darker correct mark, does it see both? Sorry, just wondering and obsessing over this tiny point post-exam.

Had horrible proctors at NVCC Annandale. Ate individually wrapped candies the whole time, listened to things on their phone that I could hear, talked to each other, flipped through and made comments about the photos on everyone's tickets during the sections, kept going in and out of the room and slamming the door/allowing sounds from outside to enter the room during sections, etc. I didn't finish two sections thanks to their bullshit. I was right in the front row so they were incredibly distracting. I don't know that it's worth it to cancel if most places take the high score anyway. I think I'll be lucky to break 160 and I was testing in the 170 range. I'm so angry, especially because now I have to wait until October to retake when it's not ME that was the problem.

Same. I had two LGs as well and the real one was the one I thought was very easy. The only other time I've thought a section was so easy was PT48... -8 scale :?

Aside from easy games that I thought LR2 was fairly hard and had to skip/guess the long parallel at the end of it. Felt great about LR1 and pretty good about RC.

Putting myself in the "likely writing in October" camp.

I had two LG sections, one of which went really well and the other I am less sure about (and have the bad feeling the first one was my experimental). Feeling shaky about both LR and RC. I am hoping it is just jitters but I have definitely revised this morning's expectations. Am also pretty scared of the curve, from what I can tell when most people think LG is easy that usually corresponds with a bad curve.

Hope everyone else had a better experience!

Exactly the same here. Every is identifying the experimental section by topic, which makes me unsure because I never commit those kinds of details to long-term memory. Pretty sure the one I found difficult was the real one. Gah.

its perfectly normal to feel worse about your performance hours after the test. If you arent gunning for the top 6 keep the score, if you are- then thinkit through, but make that decision before tomorrow afternoon. Its perfectly normal to score within the lower end of your pt range, so keep that in mind

but i think you all nailed it!

Ack I hated the games (of course). So glad I already switched to Oct. The last game killed me. The LR I thought were oddly easy (finished 6 minutes early in one of them - I had 3 so it might be that the LRX was easier.) I know exactly which parallel you're talking about and I was torn between two. It took me way too long! If I had games locked down like you do I would have felt pretty good leaving. I'm sure you nailed it!

Mine was ok, games were very easy. LR were pretty typical. RC was ridiculous for me. I may have dropped quite a few on that one.

I'm predicting a 166 +/- 1. I anticipate retaking in October.

Over all the day wasn't a bad one but I developed a pretty nasty headache right before the break- caffeine withdrawal I think. I didn't sleep so great the night before, but got a solid 6 hours in at least.

I feel pretty good about today all things considered. A 167 would be fantastic!

EDIT: oh and I almost puked during the writing section. Those last 10 minutes were brutal.

I hadn't PT'd below 171 in weeks... I'd be thrilled with that. I was hoping to get a score that would put me in a shot for NYU, now I'm looking at Fordham.

FUCK.

Preparing to kill myself. Testing at an average of 175 before the test, estimating at best a 165. I have never seen RC problems that difficult, not to mention I could barely breathe throughout the entire test due to asthma. I hate myself.

Oh no! I can't imagine what it's like to have an asthma attack while taking the test. Think over it, cancel if you have to, and kill it in October. We all know you can do it.

Also, an asthma attack is basically an unimpeachable LSAT addendum. I don't think it'll hurt your chances at admission even if you do poorly.

Oh no, I'm so sorry. I feel the same. At least I wasn't ill this time. For a month before the test, I was comparing myself to Soj's scores and was following him pretty closely. That is, always a steady 10 below Soj. So I was hoping for a 170 as long as Soj got a 180. But today I doubt I'll get better than a 163. :-(

hi guys.

FUCK MY LIFE.

i swear this was gonna be my best PT ever...until the fucking balls game (4th game). Guessed on all 5 qs. The LR2 (5th section for me) fucked me pretty hard too because due to time constraints i guessed on 3 blindly (incl. the weird parallel game) and on 2 semi-blindly.

So say, at worst i get all of my 10 guessed qs wrong, i better get everything else right to be in the 170s (which is unlikely because the real RC had 1-2 confusing questions on the comparative passage).

Sorry for all the cussing, i needed to vent (again).

October here I come.

LSAC prohibits discussion, including the so-called “postmortem” discussion of test questions immediately after a particular test administration, because it has the potential to affect the fairness of the LSAT and the law school admission process. Sounds almost just like me luft. I wasn't quite grasping the game action of balls, so I had to make a few hypos before doing the questions. I had extra time but had to rush and didn't finish with a lot of time left.

Seemed like LR 2 had books for the last 4 or 5 questions. Also wished I woulda taken my own advice and looked to do the comparative passage 1st.

I hate to use this figure of speech, but my test center today was so full of fail I don't even know where to begin. First of all, did anyone's test center have a good number of people forget their picture for the test ticket? There were AT LEAST (no exaggerating here) 15 people who didn't have a picture. They like had to go to the back or something and get their picture taken, I don't know what they did but they didn't dismiss them. I was in the last group of testers escorted to the room. I was seated, but had to wait until they ALL had their pic taken. A handful of us had to sit and wait in our room like a half hour before they were done. We probably didn't start section 1 until 2pm. That was just the beginning.

I can go on, but I'm surprised I don't feel worse after today. I'm hoping the damage isn't too bad on RC

Just wanted to say that it's totally normal to feel bad about the test. Everyone in here, from what I've seen, is a high achiever and it's easy to feel bad about a high pressure exam like this.

Trust your initial reaction. Everybody is going to second guess themselves once they come onto TLS, don't psyche yourself into cancelling.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
