My boyfriend keeps telling me to "be patient" about scores. I AM NOT GOING TO BE PATIENT ANYMORE.

My SO is less patient than I am. She keeps asking me if the icons are gray.

I tried to read the wikipedida article about it and I still have no freaking clue what it is.

People literally walk around with a forked stick and use the stick to find water, oil, etc. My stepdad really likes Western movies so I had to watch those a lot as a kid, so I guess that's why I know what it is.

But... how? Like, how does the stick change when there are/are not resources nearby? What is it about the stick that indicates direction? It doesn't make any sense!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My deadly combination of neuroticism, ADHD, and general impatience is not exactly favorable for these kinds of situations. I'm the guy that tracks my Amazon packages every hour.

It's been a while since I read the passage, but is it possible a "skilled" dowser can recognize geological features that would indicate water beneath the surface. I'm not a scientist so this could be waaaaay off. Just curious.

Honestly, I think there's a 65% chance the scores get released today. Our mental models for predicting the release date are probably a bit overfit to the past data. Articles like this:

gave a 0% prior probability of the scores being released July 6th or later. Surely it's possible that the scores will be released then. Gotta use those fat-tailed distributions, not underestimate the level uncertainty in the world, extract the signal from the noise... blah, blah

PLEASE, Lord Testy, release the scores today. The community may not be able to withstand another day of this.

You can apply ED to more than one school due to the timing of some ED programs. Some schools have 2 sets of ED applications, meaning you can apply really early to 1 school, get a decision, and then apply to another through ED.

School's cannot see where you applied, although on your application they will ask you where you applied. You are not required to answer this question. They are notified of seat deposits on like June 15th or something, though.

Only apply ED to Northwestern, unless you are a super splitter uninterested in schools 20-14. Then you could consider throwing an ED app to like UVA if you have like a 2.8/178 split

Being international I don't know how much a "splitter" definition would apply to me, however I was thinking to apply ED to NU and GWU: DC would be my first-ish area of interest / I'm aiming for politics - international organizations / looking for double degree (MPA/JD?)...

GWU with ED scholarship would be a great place, I think, with these hypoteses
