yeah i feel you man. tacos are generally good but ive never been like really impressed by a taco before. I thoroughly enjoy tacos, and i would prefer the average taco to the average burger, but there are some burgers that ive been blown away by.

i have pretty much the opposite opinion of f_u. i think the dank ceiling is higher for burgers.

Checking back in to say that tacos are a food group in Texas for a reason. Burgers are better on average, but great tacos are better than great burgers, and in most parts of Texas both are cheap and readily available.

I'm not much of a cupcake person. I do NOT recommend Crema Cafe cupcakes - they look beautiful but taste less so. Was very disappointed with their dry cake in the s'mores cupcake. Bruleed whipped marshmallow frosting was good tho. (fun fact, owned by Felipe's daughter)

Cambridge and Boston are kind of slacking in the bakery arena if you ask me. Cambridge's best place, Rosie's, is now extinct (except in Newton and South Station. Check it out if you're catching a train). The only good dessert shops in town are the North End places like Mike's Pastry and Modern Pastry. If you fux with cannolis and stuff.

im talking about good muffins not like office muffins. Cupcakes just seem like frosting coated sugar bombs with not much in the way of texture. maybe ive only had shitty cupcakes though and need to find a good one and follow weasley's tip. tbh im not actually a huge muffin fan i just made that post a few pages back to start some fights. burgers v tacos turned out to be much more successful than my impotent attempts.

Yeah, I haven't hit up the H Square Mike's yet. Standardly pretending to be on a diet whilst drinking the caloric equivalent of a cupcake or two a day. Smart!!!!!

The only good muffins are those that are packed with blueberries and blasted with sugar tho, and at that point you're halfway to a cupcake anyways

This. I'm in the Midwest, so anyone who answers "tacos" here is a vegetarian (there's an lsat question in there somewhere..). Maybe in Florida or something, where you are choosing between artisanal lobster tacos or whatever vs. gatorjerky burgers, you might have wiggle room, I suppose.
