btw it's ALL LR... i was scoring anywhere from -1 to -4 in both LR sections combined from PTs 69-74, and now i'm scoring like -10 in both sections combined. RC and LG scores have stayed pretty much the same. what does this meaaan
Just trust the average. Your skills did not magically disappear over the past two PT's.
This. How could you lose the skills and techniques and knowledge you've built up? You haven't you just didn't have a good run or two.

Also, while it's probably not a great idea to dwell on the idea of retaking this close to the test, here is something I am keeping in mind:

Do I want to retake (for a third time!) in September again? Hell fucking no. BUT, the nice thing about taking the June test is knowing that if I DO need to retake in September, it's not going to ruin or really affect this cycle at all. That's quite a nice position to be in (as versus taking the test for the first time in December or even September).

So I am keeping it in the back of my mind! No need for panicking.
true, true. thanks!! i'm just frustrated above all else.

morning everybody! i chose mixed fruit instead of a bagel for breakfast this morning, so i'm really committed to this 'stay healthy before the lsat' thing instead of 'eating my feelings' which is something i'm prone to do lol

In addition to what everyone else has said, definitely BR these two tests like you never have before. I'd recommend doing that rather than drilling or taking another PT--you'll go into the test knowing exactly what you did wrong and how to fix it this time around.

For what it's worth, I was in your exact same position, wanting to do one and done in December, and then tanking on LR the few tests leading up to Dec. It was nothing to do with my ability and everything to do with the sheer amount of work I'd done leading up to that point finally catching up to me. Come test day I went -3 on LR combined.

That being said, a retake is not the worst thing in the world--and that is the absolute worst thing that can happen to you walking out of the test center on Monday. Your ego takes a tiny hit, and you have to devote another couple of months of your life to the LSAT, but other than that, you'll be fine--and you'll be better off for it in the long run.
