Sorry, what do you mean by bolded?
I would definitely still drill LG and get proficient at that first. **

Gotcha. So, keep drilling and reviewing LG until I can get like -1/-2, then add PT's?

Thanks Dirigo. When I end up going Dillard/Mordecai/HYS, I'm buying you a steak dinner. ;)

Did you guys get gifts for profs/employers who wrote you LOR's? I'm wondering what would be appropriate.

I would consider casting Scholarly. The rest of you are too normal, and that's awful for reality tv.

I didn't. But I go to an enormous university with massive class sizes so I doubt my LORs are going to be more than "He got an A. Good student." crap at which point gifts give off a palpable (and off-putting) "this is a bribe" impression.
It's not a bribe if given after the lor is submitted. And you need to gun harder than that for YS, you need rec letters where the prof says "this student is without a doubt one of the best I have ever taught", and I'm not even exaggerating. Get 2 of those.

oh yea, I'm definitely not trying to give it to them beforehand. They already wrote it and submitted.

I wrote my profs a simple Merry Christmas + thanks for writing LOR. You could prob try the same except for New Years. I think it really depends on prof if you're thinking about getting them a gift--for mine, it would've been a bit awkward, especially since I don't know them too well outside of classes and whatnot.

Also @ Gamerish, DUDE same thing happened to me with the first prof who offered to write me a LOR. She was just like, Yeah, your rank # was X, I'll just put that and it should be good to go right? -___-

ETA: Wrote e-mail, not a legit letter (too lazy T_T)

For NLee10 - Are you going to apply for a lot of the local schools, for 2016?

Yeah. I have no reason to go out of state so will have UCLA/USC/UCI/UCD at the top of my list.

I would still go to law school but definitely more intently pursue public interest or government work. I would buy a super nice NYC condo and an LA home. I'd buy either a San Diego or Laguna Beach beach house (which I would let my parents live in).
I worry about money a lot so it would just be nice to enjoy life more without having to worry about retirement, savings, etc.

Eta: as a hobby, I would form my own production company and produce reality shows and really try to build a brand in that regard.
Sounds awesome. I worry about money a lot also - I have crazy spreadsheets and try to be super organized with it lol. I think I would still go to law school also because I like being intellectually challenged. But I would definitely take lots of vacations to travel all over the world. I would probably retire early and open up a bakery or something where I make delicious desserts.

You took that when you were really tired right? Does it differ much from your last few PTs?
Eta sorry I was reading it on my phone and missed the tired part. But yeah if your BR is good then you may have just had a bad day. Be like tswift and shake it off
