Ugh I know. I woke up with such anxiety this morning about all of it.

Were those heavily weighted in one particular LR? haha.

I'm not sure. Why do you ask?

I had 3 LR sections and can't remember which was in which. I felt confident at the time but I keep overthinking which is dumb cause I don't even remember specific questions haha

As in, do any of the questions I mentioned seem familiar?

I remember most of the ones that you listed (poison ivy, tomb, TV, cat food, t rex, biology) and others not so much. My least favorite question by far was the teen drivers. I had NO IDEA on that one and that never happens to me. I was able to eliminate some, but I don't remember which I ended up putting. I'm just stressing because I think my score is tied up in the last 6 questions of games, but then I'm like what if I got all those wrong and every LR I struggled on even a little bit wrong.

Teen drivers was super hard, I'm surprised more people aren't freaking out about it. Also, I'm now like 90% sure I screwed up T-Rex. RIP dreams.

Teen drivers was one of those questions where as soon as you realize what the right answer is you wanna shoot yourself for spending so long on it.

Question, I wrote in September and December. Scored a 164 in Sept. and I'm pretty doubtful I did much better this time around. I know I did a lot better on RC and LR in December ( I did LR Questions 10-25/26, and every RC passage, from PT's 31-79), but I fucked on the games. Basically studied weird games, but untimed, so the pressure I felt on Saturday threw me off.

Should I retake in February? or sit out a cycle and study for June/Sept?

What were you scoring on PTs? Unless there were extenuating circumstances that caused you to significantly underperform Sep/Dec, I'd be reluctant to retake again in Feb, especially since it would put you late in the cycle.

Averaging 168-170 for fresh PT's before Dec, and high 170s for retakes.

I think in September I was generally weak in all areas, then in December showed improvement on RC and LR, but didn't have the right approach under stress to lg. Like, I had game 4 figured out before I walked out of the room, and was kicking myself for not following JY's directions (when you're stuck, flesh out the inferences that you can vs. waiting for inspiration).

I know most schools will hold your app if they see a future registration, which would push my decision out to march at least, when most slots are already filled. So that's where I'm stuck, roll with my 164 +/- what I get in Jan., or else.

Everyone is different, but if I were in your shoes, I wouldn't take in February, especially since it's your third take. Best case scenario- you do better than you expected in Dec, and you apply with that. Worse case scenario- you don't do better in Dec, and you sit out a cycle, build your resume, save some cash, and give yourself more time to improve for June.

I absolutely agree with Pozzo here. I underperformed on Sept and mainly took Dec knowing I didn't want to apply with a Feb take. I figured that, in worst case, I'll use that third take in June or next September.

yeah the one w/26 questions was way harder. I think like over half of those come from that section alone.

^This. I feel decent about every section except one LR. Too bad I don't remember any ACs...just the frustration that my prephrases weren't coming to me like they normally would. Oooof.

Well, I'm relieved we were all in the same boat then. I haven't done worse than like -3 on a LR in a while [typically -2 to -4 between both sections], so fingers crossed.
