Good luck everyone!
Fascinating how your modal individual section scores are substantially different from what your modal score overall would indicate.
tbh just had to google what mode is.

I'm a wee bit rusty, good thing I'm not taking the GRE.......

Yeah, I don't know exactly how to analyze that. They vary even more dramatically on my last 10 PT's (-1 LR, -0 LG, -1 RC, -6 total).

Edit: Actually, they're exactly the same, lol. Nevermind.

I'd actually guess it indicates that the tests actually are well-scaled. So even while a top-scorer like yourself is able to consistently miss very few questions most of the time, there's usually hard one section that brings you down if you do score in the mid-170s rather than upper-170s.

think about it this way; you got your shitty random one-off out of the way, so you'll be back to regular form come test-day

So i am suddenly sick... felt it coming on today and now it's in full effect.

Swollen throat, ears throbbing, eyes sore, a steady drip from my nose...

Chances I can heal by Monday?

Currently downing pure vitamin C powder and orange, carrot, ginger juice.

Yeah you'll be fine--just like eat super healthy and drink tons of water (literally don't stop drinking water throughout the day) until Sunday, and then Monday just load yourself up with non-drowsy drugs and I'm sure you'll feel good enough to knock out the test no big deal! Honestly better now than the day of.

btw it's ALL LR... i was scoring anywhere from -1 to -4 in both LR sections combined from PTs 69-74, and now i'm scoring like -10 in both sections combined. RC and LG scores have stayed pretty much the same. what does this meaaan

Quick question on MBT type q's concerning causality relations.

If the stimulus indicates that A causes B ("B happens due to A", "Because A, B happens", etc), would it be correct to pick an answer (assuming Must be True question) that states that B would not happen without A?

Depends on whether it states or you can assume, based on the stimulus, that A is the sole cause of B. If you can't assume that, I don't think u can answer that as a must be true. For instance, albeit a rash example, if I said a gun shot to the head causes death, I can't say that without a gun shot death doesn't occur, cause a whole other number of causes could lead to death...I hope that makes sense.

Haha thanks, I'm sort of joking but those things do make my skin crawl. A cluster of ladybugs makes me want to scream and projectile vomit.

Most of your pretzel pics don't trigger that, but in that last one the salt pieces were laid in such a way........

Anywayyy GOOD MORNING

This. How could you lose the skills and techniques and knowledge you've built up? You haven't you just didn't have a good run or two.

Also, while it's probably not a great idea to dwell on the idea of retaking this close to the test, here is something I am keeping in mind:

Do I want to retake (for a third time!) in September again? Hell fucking no. BUT, the nice thing about taking the June test is knowing that if I DO need to retake in September, it's not going to ruin or really affect this cycle at all. That's quite a nice position to be in (as versus taking the test for the first time in December or even September).

So I am keeping it in the back of my mind! No need for panicking.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
