Nope, just got back from the gym and eating a meal. Probably in an hour or so. I'm still feeling pretty good!

Hey guys,

I posted a new thread for December 2014 Re-takers. I think our schedule and needs are a very different compared to the first time takers. Hope we can get the December RE-takers' thread going!

Really curious here, but I'm assuming the first time takers will be done with drilling within these next couple weeks and have most of November and 1st week of Dec to PT+ Review. How does a schedule for a re-taker differ for this last step?

took pt38 yesterday. I did 1st section at 10am then got called into work, took the rest of the test at 9pm. got a 157. pretty happy about that.

-5 LR1... -7 games.... -13 RC ($%#&).... -7 LR2.

much better than my low 140s diagnostic.

eta - time to start taking more recent ones

Nice work on the LR. Doesn't it feel amazing to get a 20+/25 section on LR? lmao. RC is just a pain in the ass. hah

I go for the $7 gummy ones at Walmart. Can't splurge when there's a good chance they'll be destroyed if I carelessly leave them unattended for a minute.
fair enough lol

I can talk for myself! I have taken the LSAT twice: June and September 2014, and I am very well prepared in LR (0-2 mistakes) and RC (0-2, barring occasional bombing like today's -6), and I am behind on LG. Rather than mad PTing, I need to drill a lot of LG, discuss and understand if there are better methods than what I am using, and learn advanced techniques/difficult questions for LR and RC. Plus, the thrust needs to be on finishing well within time.

I don't think the above description applies to first time test takers.

yes improving on LR is so nice. not too stressed while doing those Qs anymore. I really did well on this set though I think they're generally just getting easier for me which is nice. there was 3 questions I had previously seen and funny I got those 3 wrong haha I am going to review the test today and probably take a more recent one Thursday. hope to get into the 160s!

I like the comparative passages better definitely. I heard the new tests have hard RC so I really gotta work on that

Good job. Your LR is shaping up nicely. Improving on games and lowering RC a bit will easily get you into the 160's.
You may find the comparative reading passages on more recent LSATs more manageable.
I hate comparative reading 0_0.

Just thought that there might be others like me out there who know that they did not do as well as they can in the September LSAT.

Hi guys! Long-time-lurker, first time poster for this forum. I cancelled in September and my last shot is December, since I'm applying this year.

I'm currently dealing with a drop in my PT average. Before the September test it was 169-173, and now I'm getting consistent high 160s. My goal is 174+ (I hadn't prepared very thoroughly for September). I'm trying to figure out if this is just me panicking about last time and that causing anxiety, or if it's me not being diligent enough. I've allowed myself far too much of a social life the last two weeks...

Also, in my (totally unsolicited) opinion, re-takers are probably a little bit more focused on just PTs right now, but even first-time takers are probably almost at that point or should reach it in a week or two, right? Not sure how necessary separate forums are, though I guess it can't hurt.

Anyway, glad to be here!

eh the way I see it is its a person by person thing... retakers or not theres going to be people who need to drill certain types of questions and then there are some who its all getting the timing down/getting more comfortable with actually taking the full thing. First timers just dont have that official score

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
