I thought 60 wasn't too bad, but some people have had trouble with it...hard to tell if it's nerves or the test though. IMO, it's best to go into every test thinking that it's going to be a piece of cake  Haven't taken 61 yet, going to do it tomorrow.

Just scored PT 60, and was shocked to score my first ever 180. Was shaking grading the fourth section (the LSAT has apparently turned me into a huge dork).

LR1: -1
LG: -0
LR2: -1
RC: -0

Was especially pleased because I had really struggled through the first LG for some reason (which should have been pretty straightforward), and had changed two incorrect answers to correct answers in LR.

So keep at it, everyone. It is late in the game but even now I feel like things keep getting clearer and concepts keep getting simpler. We're almost there!

Preptest 61 today
RC -1
LR -2
LGe (pt57) -1 :-)
LG -2 :-/
LR -1

Raw -6
Scaled 175

In happy except for LG. Made a couple bad mistakes but I'll do better. Happy about the -1 on LG from 57. Interestingly, the one I missed wasn't from mauve dinos.

I took PT 57 today, going into it prepared to be frustrated by the 'infamous' dino game, but I actually didn't find it to be that difficult, I definitely suffered worse through the LGs in the 30s. The only question I missed came from a careless mistake on reading the word EXCEPT  I scored a 170 on the test, with careless reading mistakes counting for 3 of the total questions I got wrong. The section that tripped me up the most was RC, with the silly Koch curve and Willa Cather's impressionism throwing me off for some reason.

Wtf, goodbye consistency.

PT 59
LG: -1
LR: -4
LR: -0 :D
RC: -2
-7, 94, 176

I'm loving these super generous curves, I hope we get one. I was really stressed the first part of the test and found the LG and LR very difficult. LR 2 and RC pretty easy. -7 is my lowest in a long time.

Had a light day, redid two old LGs.

-3 on the first (same old stupid mistakes)
-0 on the second.

I think I'll take one final PT soon, either tomorrow or the next day.

PT 60...step back.

LR: -2
LG: -0
LR: -4
RC: -5
Raw: 88
Scaled: 170

I got a phone call and kinda zoned out a couple times during the RC, so I won't go too hard on myself, there. But this is somewhat discouraging, after I'd really been doing much better on RC lately. And I just need to take the LR slower. It's always annoying to see that you get the hard questions, and miss easy ones you flew through. And to get three questions wrong about suburban sprawl when you wrote a 15-page paper about that last year.

PT62

RC: -2
LR1: -0
LG: -0
LR2: -1

-3, 99, 180

Relieved that I made a comeback after getting a 169 on PT59 last week, after doing 5 8-section tests over 10 days
8 sections in a roll? wow, that's intensive
Do you find it useful?

Given the generous curve, your score is still pretty good.
I did this PT this afternoon. Got a 173, with 5 RC wrong. I need to drill RC

Any disadvantage to doing practice tests close to June 6 (like doing one on Friday and one on Saturday)?

Well, if you bomb, you'll get discouraged.

But I plan to, so fuck it, I guess.

You have no idea how glad I am to read this. I got a 168 on PT59 today and was about ready to lose it.

Hey all. I've been having a lot of focus/burn-out issues the last week, and PT scores have been suffering, despite breaks. Still have PTs 59-62 left untouched, and tons of drills, but at this point I don't even care what material I get through. I think I'm going to try to avoid this site until after test day... I'm going to try my best to just take a huge chill pill, relax, not worry about what PTs I get done or how I do on them, and just go into the test with clear and confident head. And also look forward to the massive party I'll have on Monday night. (...yeah right. I'll probably eat a gallon of ice cream and then fall asleep.)

Good luck everyone, and I especially hope all the amazingly helpful people on this thread reap the rewards of their goodwill and rock the test on Monday.

I figured because many of the "regulars" are quitting TLS for a bit before the big day (if you haven't all already and my message will reach none of you :) ), I'll say it now:

Good luck everyone!!

This has been a great study group and despite recently jumping ship to Oct, I still consider you all my study buddies  Everyone stay calm (that goes double to you OhOkay! You will kill it like carazay). I will miss you all but wish you a happy and LSAT-free summer! See you on the Law School Admissions board

PT61
RC: -5
LR1: -2
LG: 0
LR2: -1
Raw: -8
Scaled: 173

RC has been all over the place lately despite it being my bread and butter for the past 6 months. Past PTs have been -1, 0, -5, -1, -5. Really hoping that those are just outliers.

Thrilled with my LR, really starting to gain some confidence heading into Monday.

Probably my last time on TLS, good luck to all of you!

+1!! I enjoyed working with a lot of you in the study group. For some reason, I feel like Oprah on her final show. Keep in touch and I look forward to seeing all of the 180's rolling in towards the end of the month!

Best,

JG

Taking my leave before the big day now. I'll be drilling LG because it's still taking me too long to finish, but I feel like if I do any more LR/RC then I'm just going to stress and performed worse on 6/6. Good luck everyone, I may or may not stop in immediately after the LSAT to cry out of sadness/joy.

just got done with pt 60, overall wasn't too bad but misread a couple answer choices in LR that i'd like back but hey what can you do? found reading comp to be odd, 1st passage felt tricky, next two were pretty easy and the last one okay, still not sure about the last question, need to review it a bit more. also, after finally getting to the hyped "impossible games" i can't help but feel a little underwhelmed. sure dinos was time consuming but by no means impossible. also i had heard that the "mulch" game was really tough but it was my best game that whole section, so who knows. i'm still just a bit frustrated b/c i was doing so well on LR in the early-mid 50s and now i can't seem to break -2, idk what my deal is with it. any thoughts? thanks.

These late 50/60s LG sections are killing me. I don't know why.

Nerves maybe? They are quite time consuming I will say, but other than that I cannot see why someone as AWESOME as yourself is struggling. Maybe relax?

Just do not lose your cool over it.
