Oh boy. Had a dream about studying last night.

I've had dreams about getting my score back (always terrible or impossibly high, like 185), dreams about going into test day and realizing I don't know how to read, and dreams where I'm stuck in elaborate real-life logic games.
...I definitely think about the LSAT too much.

I'm in. I have a 3.95 LSAC GPA and hoping to score around a 168-170 to get into a T14 school. Just scored 162 on PT 58, went -6 LR1, -4 RC, -5 LG, and -7 LR2. I'm having trouble with In Out Grouping games, which seems to reflect a bigger problem of misunderstanding and misinterpreting conditional logic.

Uhhhh....I took PT 53 today and went -2 LR and -10 on RC. How TF does that happen? My RC is sooo inconsistent lol

Finally starting to get back into studying a little after miss bubbling LG section on October test (I flipped out....... )

....anyone using testmasters? is it worth the 950$ for online version? I need to just crash study for next 6 weeks.

From what I've heard, 7sage is very beneficial considering the price (~200)
Yet, I believe that if you have already taken a test and have knowledge of the fundamentals, then you may not be in need of such a course. Perhaps you only need to focus on the nuances, since it seems you already have knowledge of the basics of the lsat.

Furthermore, if you want to start a course now, perhaps it will be too close to the test date of Feb. - Usually, you need some time to digest the information etc.

All in all, I don't think that you cant do anything that a prep company has to offer - with Manhattan, Powerscore, and others such as the cambridge packet, you should be able to pull off a good score, mainly because a course is only designed to get you in the 160s.

If you insist upon a course, I personally thing 7Sage is tops -- but I totally agree that 1 month out isn't enough time to get a full course benefit.

I think most people you talk to on here will tell you that highly motivated individual study is where it's at; if you have trouble motivating yourself, then I can see how a course might be helpful -- but online courses are almost always self-paced, so they wouldn't be helpful in that sense.

Peruse the forum -- there are some great study guides you can adapt for the next month!

So just buying the premium 7sage for 350 should do the trick to hit a 165? (i.e., the ultimate is not unnecessary since I will only take test one more time and have 6 weeks)

7sage in/out is perhaps the best method for in/out.

Sometimes I find it helpful to just rewrite the entities and circle or X the entities that are in and out. However, I don't do this when there are subcategories in the in and out games - then I follow 7sages method.

Depending upon where you're starting at, that's very possible -- but of course the courses alone aren't enough if you are highly motivated, a 165 is achievable in this time frame without 7sage or any other program; with it though, you may find it easier.

We all come from different places financially, so it's sort of a tough discussion; if my goals were a 165, I would probably not purchase a course, because for me, $200+ is a significant monetary expenditure. Now, if it were my only way to achieve my desired score, then it would be well worth it -- but I feel a 165 is within the grasp of most people with intensive study over a month.
