My deal with myself is that if I score +167 I won't retake this fall.

Re: The Official June 2016 Study Group
Helloo people
Tomorrow will be my last major day of drilling...
Got a 167 on PT 77 today (taking 76 on Friday). My average has been 164, so this was good for me! Especially given that this is the test I got a 156 on in December...
My averages are falling around:
LG: -2 to -4
LR: -3 to -7 per section
RC: -4 to -7
Tomorrow I'm reviewing extra difficult LGs and retrying every LR question that I have gotten wrong from my past 6 PTs.
I've kinda given up on drilling RC. I drilled it for literally 3 days straight last week and my score decreased, so I'm gonna focus my energy elsewhere.
Does anyone have suggestions for super challenging LGs, RC passages, or even total LR sections?

Ugh we'll have to make up for it in the waiter's thread then.pretzeltime wrote:at this rate we fershure aren't making it to 180 pages. oh wellz I guess our thousands of cumulative hours of preparation will have to come through for us
I was also trying to calculate exactly how many hours total I've spent on LSAT prep. Even excluding the three months I took off after Dec, I figure I averaged about 2.5 hours per day for 6 months, and that's a conservative estimate. Even that would put me at almost 400 hours.

Re: The Official June 2016 Study Group
Yeah I mean I'd be terrified to know my hours. If counting preptests, a course, and individual studying I think I'm probably over 500 or 600. Maybe even more. I honestly can't imagine finishing all of this, if I get a score I'm happy with in June. Re: The Official June 2016 Study Group
I've already decided June 6 is going to be the last PT I ever take. All my material is functionally used up, and I already have a score that I'm relatively happy with, just trying to add a bit more icing on the cake. Haven't decided yet if that gives me more or less pressure for Monday...pretzeltime wrote:Yeah I mean I'd be terrified to know my hours. Yeah, you already have a 170, is that right? If so, you should be cool as a cuke. You are already in a great spot.forum_user wrote:I've already decided June 6 is going to be the last PT I ever take. Yeah right around there. At any rate, it definitely does help having taken it once. Like I know the process and how it really is just like any other PT, you're just surrounded by dozens of other people working on it. And I don't typically get nervous so I'm really just ready to crush itpretzeltime wrote:Yeah, you already have a 170, is that right? If so, you should be cool as a cuke. For some reason, zzquil and nyquil never work for me. If i'm sick and take nyquil, I will typically be up for hours before I fall asleep D:proteinshake wrote:something I wish I did on my previous take was keep a bottle of Zzquil with me.
