I find that I'm very good at the older RC but am performing poorly in comparison on the newer ones. if only lsat hadn't made rc more difficult since the old pt days. i get -0/-3 on old rc but the new rc just destroyed me.

so i had a similar experience. i had little over 3 min for the last passage so i never really could read it. i found that the 3rd passage though easy to read, had trick inference questions and hypothetical questions about what if true would strengthen one view and weaken other. it had a slightly implicit assumption in the passage that i think i missed initially, so took longer on at least 2 of its questions both of which i couldn't find a good answer choice for and got wrong. i had taken this test for real last june, never discussed or thought about it so i could take it again as a fresh test.

Guys I am in such a muck

I have been just too nervous and/or overthinking, and my scores have dropped from a consistent high-170s to a consistent low-170s. So I've just been reviewing old tests in hopes of getting my mojo back. And also I've been looking at various master's programs and alternative career paths I could possibly pursue if I feel like it, to try and get my nerves down.

Make sure to take some breaks and do non LSAT things. Take the pressure off a bit. It'll be ok.

Been doing one six-section test per day for the past week and completely baffled to find myself stuck on the low 170s, slightly relieved to see that I'm not alone in this.

I guess confidence plays a part as well, the pressure from the approaching test day makes it more likely for us to be self-doubting all the time.

I went to Walmart (here in Canada) and they do it on the spot - they charged $20 though which was definitely too much

On a side note, just finally found out which room my test is in and it has real tables!! I've just been praying it wasn't one with those tiny desks large enough for three quarters of an 8.5 x 11" paper
