As I see it, the LSAT is most people's ticket to free (or very reduced price) law school...if they want it. And, guess what, if anyone doesn't score highly enough, they get to try again...and again.
I don't know a casino on the planet that'll pay you $150,000 if you hit your number on the craps table and, if you don't, let's you re-roll. Even better, this isn't a game of chance. It's skill based. We truly hold all the cards on Monday.

Congrats to the BF!carasrook wrote:my anxiety about this test is kicking up :'(
taking tonight off to celebrate bf's promotion and then taking my last PT tomorrow night!
are y'all doing light prep this weekend or totally taking a break?
My plan is to do one last full-up PT tomorrow morning. Blind reviewing it on the beach in the afternoon. Doing an hour of LG and an hour of LR drilling Friday. Meeting up with Mrs. Meerkat's law school buddies who are from Miami Friday night (so they can all kvetch together about bar prep). Then off to the Keys for Saturday and Sunday.

Took my final PT today and I messed up my answer sheet for the RC section..would have dropped my score 20 points had I not allowed myself to correct it during the break.

You'll be fine bro/sis.etramak wrote:Took my final PT today and I messed up my answer sheet for the RC section..would have dropped my score 20 points had I not allowed myself to correct it during the break.
When I was first learning how to fly, I over-G'd the hell out of a jet and was auto-failed on the flight (and if you fail three flights, you wash out of the training program...this was strike one). As my instructor said, "I was flying like a well-hit 3 wood in a tile bathroom".

He was right. I never did...and I did great in the program.
So, Etramak, you'll never misbubble again. Promise. Don't let it get inside your head. You'll be fine. #fistbumb

Day 1 of me abstaining from alcohol pre-LSAT.
It sucks.
Do I actually have to do this?
It's kind of like drinking while pregnant. Unclear what the effects are, if any.
HA.
(also yes this does lead to the larger question of whether I'm an alcoholic...I'll deal with that after the test)
Need my sauvy blancccc

and #fistbump reciprocated.
Its definitely something I'll keep in mind on test day.
Your story is also a great reminder that there's things, like flying jets filled with explosive fuel, that are much higher stakes than this exam.

Also taking one final PT tomorrow. Drilling tonight, drilling Sunday, but that's it. Maybe one LG game and a couple LRQs Monday morning just to get me in the mood.ponderingmeerkat wrote:Congrats to the BF!carasrook wrote:my anxiety about this test is kicking up :'(

I've seen a few of your posts referring to your PTs, but I dont remember. Have you broken 170? I haven't FMLHennessyVSOP wrote:i'm glad someone is in the same boat as meTheMikey wrote: I usually get like a 167 on the majority of my PTs.

Only once. My scores have all been in the 164 - 169 range. Mostly 166 or 167.TheMikey wrote:I've seen a few of your posts referring to your PTs, but I dont remember. Have you broken 170? My deal with myself is that if I score +167 I won't retake this fall.

Yeah I get you. Hopefully no one in this group will have to retake because of a shitty score. I know some people say to max out on your retakes just to see if you can score higher no matter what, but I guess we will see huh?HennessyVSOP wrote:Only once.
