Wasn't that q relatively early in the section? Like 11-15? I thought the answer came pretty naturally.

The inference is that you realize that two paintings could have paired up with only each other, so it limits the possibilities of pairings.

Granted, this only hit me in the middle of the game because I knew first two games would mean harder 4th game. Love JY forever for reading everything in his voice. <3 <3

theres another, bigger inference, although it sounds like you got it since your inference is deducted from it

Once people started talking about an inference in Game 3, I recreated it and had a "d'oh" moment. All I did was split the board, but because I was rushing, didn't take the time to work out the inference.

Don't worry. If you got your inference, you got the other one. Unfortunately, it came to me waiting for time to be called on the next section... I sure hope brute force didn't let me down.

the inference came to me after I finished game 4 and I had 5 minutes to spare. So I went back and combined the two inferences in my recheck and my initial brute force didn't let me down if that's any comfort.

I'll take it too. I actually missed the last question on game four. I just literally didn't see it. Had to bubble in a guess with seconds left, so unlike me. I hope the RC was really as easy as I thought it was and saved me in case I screwed myself with LG.

Lol when I got blitzed that Saturday, I had a panic attack at a party and had to go into the bathroom and I drew it out on my phone for reassurance. Is the story of TLS just a bunch of neurotics bunched up together?

Game 3 was so wordy, that's what threw me off, it being so unnecessarily wordy. But for my sanity, was the inference, split the game board into 3, and from there variable + variable + variable + the two variables have to do a little dance?

Lmao I feel you. Once I got home I drew out all 4 gameboards and messed around with them to make sure I didn't make any fatal mistake.

I'm lucky because game 3 came to me in probably 30-45 seconds. I immediately recognized the inference from the 1st rule and said, "well, I might as well just try filling up my gameboard" and that gave me the inference about that one column.

I think that's vague enough to say, right?

Well my last LOR just came in so I'm gonna send out apps with my current score...I honestly don't think I improved on this one so if I did it'll be a nice surprise, if I didn't then I get maybe a tiny boost for coming in before the huge January rush.

Did some Christmas shopping today. Gonna bake some goods for my family as gifts. Going to review the requirements for the schools in which I'm interested and may write up some school specific letters. Also continue having fun with my skateboarding, photography, and music. The new speedlite I got is awesome and I have a lot to learn with it. Also I want to learn Miroirs by Ravel.
