SO. SLUTTY. Haha that does sound good though. The free office coffee at my office is Starbucks and it's not bad, except that the person who makes the coffee doesn't drink coffee and so she doesn't really give a shit if there are grounds in it and shit.pretzeltime wrote:Oh my gosh not too bad. Whoa this is a super weird game. I can't remember when I did it/what I did, but JY's star setup is crazy--like that has to be something he came up with after the fact. The way I would have set this up is by treating each game piece as like a triple game piece:StopLawying wrote:So sometimes I watch these 7sage explanations and think to myself there's no freakin way I would've gotten that set up in real time. Look at PT 38 G4 for example. Did you guys go with a similar setup or did you just brute force? This game wrecked me
|_N_|_O_| _S_|_T_| _V_|
|F/L|H/M|G/H|F/G|L/M|
And then I probably would've done a double-layer sequencing game just to keep all of those in mind and split along the N/T in slot 2 with the two possibilities for each in slot 1. So you're left with 4 game boards of TN, VN, NT, and ST as the first two items.
Might be worth it to keep that star setup in mind though, since crazy games are making a comeback

Lately I've been having this though:

Honestly the twigs are pretty good considering the nutrients facts. That Kashi shit has twigs plus like other cereals.

What's on everyone's pump up playlist come gameday? I'm a little concerned about having to wait like 5 hours between waking up and actually putting pencil to paper--like I might psych myself out having to wait that long. So I'll need lots of tunes to calm down.
First on my list--a song that did me well for my December take:

This is a GREAT way to up our thread count. I need to make a game day playlist!!forum_user wrote:What's on everyone's pump up playlist come gameday? Drake will probs be on it.
"Started From The Bottom" seems appropriate.
Prob "The Motto" and maybe "Work" too.
It's kind of embarrassing to be a white girl getting pumped up to take a standardized test with fucking Drake but then I remember Drake as Jimmy in Degrassi and feel more okay about it.
For sentimentality I'll also put on the song I was listening to in high school when I got my SAT scores back and boned it. It still gives me a weird sense of euphoria whenever I hear that song.
Hmmm what else...this is my project now...

Took PT 65 three days ago, 70 two days ago, and 74 yesterday. Today will be 73. Four days of full tests, then nothing but drilling until Monday.
PT 74: 166
LR (-7) the VERY first question on this section i 100% knew the answer to, duh it was easy, somehow bubbled the (obviously) incorrect answer. Not giving myself that point - mistakes like that could easily happen on test day.
LG (-3) When I hit game 4 (studying in the library) someone came up to me, and reached out his hand to shake mine, putting his hand squarely between my eyeline and the test. When I told him I was in the middle of a timed exam, he told me "Look, I know what the LSAT is, I just wanted to ask you some questions about your life. Just watch my stuff, and don't be so rude." Somehow I didn't explode, but it completely threw me off four the remaining for questions - I gave myself one point for these, because that kind of shit doesn't happen on test day; it was a hard game anyway.
RC (-4) Pretty standard for me.
LR (-3) Pretty awesome considering i haven't scored this well on LR in any 70s tests.

No pump up playlist for me, I need to be calm, adrenaline is only gonna make me stress.

This is why I stopped studying in the library altogether--too much potential for a distraction that doesn't even simulate testing conditions.HennessyVSOP wrote:Took PT 65 three days ago, 70 two days ago, and 74 yesterday. Well my house is too hot and my neighborhood is super loud. Lots of sirens and reggaeton. Usually I love it, but not when I'm trying to focus.forum_user wrote:This is why I stopped studying in the library altogether--too much potential for a distraction that doesn't even simulate testing conditions.HennessyVSOP wrote:Took PT 65 three days ago, 70 two days ago, and 74 yesterday. Yeah I think I'm getting a feel for two things; a different kind of stamina than back-to-back sections, more like just seeing the same questions types over and over, and I'm understanding the more unique way that questions can be phrased in the 70's tests. I probably should have taken them last week to be fair.
