PT 46 today

RC -1
RCe -0
LR1 -3
LR2 -1
LG -0

Scaled: 176

Either I am finally getting better at LG, or LG has been WAY easier on PTs 44-46. I am hoping for the former but not holding my breath. I just need to eek out a couple of those extra points...

SuperPrep LG Drilling:

A: (30:58), 0
B: (33:46), 0
C: (32:12), -1

Whew. Those were just as challenging as I remember them. Haven't seen these since I took them as PTs at the beginning of April and went -4, -3, -3 respectively. I think SPB is one of the hardest LG sections ever.

Only gave myself one run-through and then hit stop on the timer. I don't like to bank on the idea that I'll be able to check my answers, especially since catching errors in LG involves a lot of luck.

I took PT 54 today and ended up with some unusual results.
--I finished all 4 Logic Games with time to spare (usually I can only do 2 1/2 games)
--Had -3 on LG (Usually have -12 or -13)
--Struggled through all logical reasoning sections (Usually my best section)
--Had -10 and -11 on LR (Usually have -4 or -5)

Was it just me or did PT 54 have a super easy LG section, and a super hard LR section? After I finished all Logic Games with time to spare, I thought that I was in the mid-160's for sure, but ended up with only a 156 because I sucked hard on LR.

RC -7
LR-10
LG-3
LR-11

Scaled Score 156

PT 57 Today

LG - -0
LR1 - -4
LR2 - -3
RC - -5

Raw 89, Scaled 169

Lame focus throughout the entire test (B & N was a madhouse today for some reason) , although I know that it a poor excuse.

Hate to be the one to tell ya, but LG's in the mid-40's are a total cakewalk. Start working on the late-50's to get better practice

Hey guys. I'm trying to prioritize all the remaining unused preptests I have, given that there's only eleven days left. I have 7 recent (post-PT50) full-length PTs to do on seven different days, but which of the following PTs should I try to make sure I expose myself to via experimental sections or drilling (or maybe even one or two more full-length PTs): PTs 25-31, 36-39, 46-49.

So you mean 46-49? Or that i should repeat post-PT50 sections for my experimentals?

Worse performance than I'd like on PT 54. Misbubbled one LG answer. Missed 3 in a row on RC and a couple of LR questions due to zoning out. I don't know what happening to my endurance, but I may need some tips. How do you guys keep focus?

yes. make sure you get enough of the comparative RC section if you need the extra work for it, so use 46-49 as exp.

I don't know if this is the case for you, but if you've been studying in the same place so far, it might help to change up the location. I tried PT-ing in different local libraries and it's made a huge difference in my energy and my focus, as compared to studying at home everyday (so close to my fridge and my bed...).

PT 57 today!

LG -0
LR -2
LR -1
RC -1

97/177

This is my first -1 RC in freaking AGESSSSSSSSSSSSSS. I just finished the Manhattan RC guide so it was a relief to actually see some change. Is 57's RC a little easier than usual? I was expecting a slight jump but not quite so much! (I usually get around -4/-5 on RC).

Whenever I start to feel myself losing focus, I just mentally slap myself in the face and remind myself that this is the most important test I will ever take and I had better give it the appropriate amount of focus. I don't know if that'll work to make me focus or just psych me out on test day, but it motivates me on practice tests.

Haha figures. I've done my best to avoid it so far. Both out of fear and knowledge that I don't need another timesuck :) (although I was totally glued to it April Fools' day because the mass chaos was amazing.)

On my break between halves of PT58. Took the 1st 2 secs and an exp sec. The RC sec totally owned me. Did others find it hard in PT58? I'm still sick from yesterday, so I guess my 10 min break has turned into a day break. I came home from the library to sleep. I'll do the other half of PT58 tomorrow. The 1st LR also was NOT easy or maybe my sick mind was not focused enough.
How much did you guys get on PT58?

PT58 is the one that owned me on LR2. And by "owned," I mean, "made me its bitch."

Hey guys, does anyone have thoughts on the difficulty of PT 51? I got my best score so far on it, but my euphoria is semi-tempered because I thought the test as a whole was pretty easy. The curve seems kind of generous though so I don't know.

I figured as much, so I did games from 54 and 55, which I had already taken (and bombed LG) as full PTs. I was able to work through them a lot more accurately and under time, so I am hoping that the new strategy is making somewhat of a difference even if the games in my current PTs are obviously easier. What really gets me these days is a game with an unusual setup that I can't figure out how to diagram effectively, or strange rules that I can't easily symbolize.

PT 47 today

LR1 -3
RCe -0
RC -0
LR2 -2
LG -1

Raw 94 Scaled 174

I brushed up on RC strategy this morning before the PT so hopefully that helped. There were some bitchin LRs on this one though that even going back I am not sure why tcr is such. :x

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
